As it is the second week of Wimbledon I can offer strawberries and cream, champagne or, of course, a proper cream tea and I promise I won't charge Wimbledon prices.

I'd forgotten how boring Roddick is. His first serve is virtually unreturnable, so if he gets it in, there are no rallies on his serve - it's just boom, boom, boom. BORING!
I hope Hewitt knocks him out, otherwise the semi-final will be boring too!
At the moment, however, Hewitt is making too many mistakes, so it looks like he won't manage it. He's just served a double fault.

Jamie Murray is serving for the match in the mixed doubles. They have been playing for over 2 hours. This is for a place in the quarter finals.

They have done it. Jamie Murray and Liesl Hubert are through to the quarter finals. Mrs. Murray has been running from court to court in order to see both of her boys. BTW Jamie is the elder brother.

So far Roddick has served 27 aces. As the commentator said, it doesn't matter how well you are playing, if you can't get your raquet on the ball there's not a lot you can do.

Back again. Time for Pimms I think.
It's gone to 5 sets (Murray will be very happy!) and is currently 3 all in the 5th. Hewitt serving, he has just won his serve so it is now 4 - 3 to Hewitt, final set.

Pims! I haven't thought of Pims in years. It is hot as hell's hinges in Tupelo today. At least, it is not as hot as it was last week. Could someone send us a little rain this way? I had another great date with the landscape architect last night. I am 5'2" and he is 6'3". I am glad he likes petite women. And, 5 cats & 3 canines have not scared him away. LOL
