    Morning all!........ rain here AGAIN today!...... maybe I need to plant blubs!...... (as sure as I get some in the ground, the rain will stop for MONTHS!)......

    ..... lol at Shadz and her "new friend"!...... when we first moved in these properties on Bay St. Abby starting "screeching" at night, and when I would run down to see what was wrong (cause I KNOW she wouldn't talk to Cuddles that way).... she was nose to nose with some big headed stray thru the picture window in the family room!........they would even "bang" on the glass at each other!...... and the funniest part was that Cuddles (usually the mean one) would sneak downstairs and sit in the arm chair right by the window to watch the show!..... I think she actually approved!.......

    I'm back too, dripping almost. Just walked 3.5km and wore off 75 calories.
    Morning AV. Raining in your famous sunny state! The horror!
    Shadz just sat by when I chased the stranger out and then looked at me as if to say 'what was that?'.

    I do solemnly believe that a cat would rather almost anything than be bored. Even fighting with the neighbours is an entertainment when you're a kittie -- or do you think they were actually 'courting', AV?

    MS, it's dark outside. You didn't really go out walking, did you? Or do you have a treadmill? It is the dream of my life to have an exercycle (the reclining type, so it doesn't hurt my back crouching over) and be able to exercise indoors all winter...

    LOL Jcat!...... if that was "courting", well it would brink on "domestic violence"!....... her tail was all puffed up and she had that "glazed" look in her eyes like "don't worry Mom, he'll never get past me"!........

    ...... this rain really is "ruining" our reputation as the Sunshine state!......

    I didn't go out in the dark and COLD. We have an elliptical exercise machine and I can exercise and keep an eye on TDK at the same time.
    Shadz normally goes out of her way to avoid any sort of confrontation unless I'm nearby and then she tries to show me how brave she is with token runs at any offending cat on her property.

    Lol, AV, if this were a kitty soap opera, that's EXACTLY what would happen, they would hate each other from the moment they set eyes on each other but it would actually be all this URST (unresolved ahem tension) firing them both up...

    ...good for you walking (exercising) MS!..... I really do need to get back into that!.......living just one block from the bay, there is really NO excuse for me not walking every day! (except for the last week, when it has rained 24/7).....

    I'm trying to remember the names of the beautiful flowers that I saw when I was in the Dominican Republic..... it sounded like tulips, but they weren't tulips..... they looked to be more in the lily family..... anyway, they were all over the place, in the city, at the resorts..... they must be hardy plants because they were in full sun, and apparently didn't need much water.....

    Jcat, they didn't appear on the first programme. I must ask Meegz about the wedding they played at so I can keep an eye out for that particular one. I'd better ring her tomorrow as she and the BF are heading off to Tahiti for a week in the weekend. She was teasing me that the temperature there is around 29C. Sighhhhhhhhh.

    ... MS, they had to be either lilies or orchids... they were spectacular, and grew all over the city!..... I wish I could find a picture, I'll keep looking.... they were bright yellow, orange and red.......I kept commenting to Hubbs "we really should plant some of those at our house, they seem so hardy".... I know the name started with a t.... but I think the spelling was in Spanish, so that's not helping is it! :(
