  1. Okay in honor of Bumblebee--a long time member of TDK! How about a fantastic garden night! Salads, vegetables, and fruits galore!! Come and tell the chef what you would like! I think I will have a lovely spinach salad with roasted chicken, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, red bell pepper, cucumber, grape tomatoes, bleu cheese, and maybe a little grilled chicken. All the fountains are bubbling--a nice Patron Margarita on the rocks no salt for me!

Pull up a chair and cuddle a kitteh or two!! So how was your day or how are you planning to spend your day....

  2. Hi SM! How are you doing?

I'm insanely busy working both jobs, but I'm telling myself it's only for 2 more weeks until I make up my mind which one to keep and make a bit of extra money.

  3. Hey everyone!

  4. Yay, SM - no salt on that Margarita!! But Patron tequila? That's uptown!

We have finished dinner and are off to watch a movie that came from Netflix today. It's an old one, What's Up, Doc. We thought it was hilarious way back when so I guess we'll see if we still think so. Last night we watched Animal House and it's as funny as ever.

Kind of tired this evening. I did a pretty hard workout at the gym and then had to come home and clean house because that lazy creature, Hazel, failed to show up.

I went out to feed my turtles this evening and I had some strawberries that really needed to be used because they were a bit past ripe. Two of the girls absolutely refused to eat them. They wanted their melon! What did they ever do in the wild, I wonder?

Hello all. Hope everyone is doing well this evening. I'm sorry I missed Bumblebee. I have GOT to answer the letter she wrote me. I read it all the time - I'm a horrible letter-writer. I'll have a margy and some kittens to cuddle. Forget the margy, just hand over the bottle of Patron.

  6. I would love some grilled corn and melon. Diet Pepsi with ice please. Some floofy kittens to fill my lap would make me very happy! It was a very long day today and I think I will fall asleep with a full tummy!

  7. MC how have you been? ((hugs))

Posted 2 years ago by HuddysMama #

  8. Oh HM after my own heart!! How about I slice up a lemon and break out the (SHHH DON'T TELL WWM) salt and we do a few shots!

MC did you work a full day today?

WWM see you should have kept Elvis--he would have gotten those finicky turtles in order!

  9. Hi HM! I am ok, tired but ok. Nope SM, just half day but our facility collie ran away during the fireworks on Saturday night. I went driving around helping look for her in the country today. No luck though, she is still missing!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  10. I know you posted you had looked--I thought since it is a work collie perhaps they counted that as a whole day. Fireworks scare animals so much. It breaks my heart. My crew were terrified until the wee hours of the morning and then last night they did it again! I think we had a little revenge though--we ended up with a storm last night. It came up suddenly--thunder, lightening and a downpour! I heard them yelling as they got very damp very quickly!

  11. Oh goodness. I hope you all find her!

  12. Hi all!
Can I have a margarita, too, please?

I'm kicking the darn fighters out of the gym in 5 minutes and then calling Old Boss on my way home to see how his wife's surgery went today. His text said it was really rough :(
Then I'm expecting a call from XBF who's back tonight from a business trip. Also dealing with a tennis situation that requires a few phone calls and emails. Arrrrgh!

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  13. No I just love that darn collie so much its silly! I did it on my own time cause she is elderly and the thought of some animal getting to her was too much to bear. My girls threw up they were so scared during all the fireworks and firecrackers. I think I am gonna go lay on my bed and read. Maybe I will fall asleep! Bye to all if I don't make it back! Sleep tight and sweet dreams!

  14. *enjoying Patron shots with SM*

GD, you've always got something going on - lol.

I'm very glad you're ok MC, I hope you guys find the dog. Collies can be sort of flighty to begin with, but fireworks aren't any animal's friend. We didn't have any here, it's just been too dry so I watched the ones on TV.

SM - I neeeed that storm.

  15. ((((HM)))) I have too much going on right now. I'm giving myself 2 more weeks to decide whether I'll keep the gym job or stick with the new job full time.

MC, I hope you find that poor doggie, too!

Arrrrgh - stupid fighters are not leaving!

  16. Good luck with your decision, sweetie. ((Bob and Mi-Mi))

  18. HM I laughed my butt off--firecrackers going off and we are in a burn ban and so darn dry and then it seemed the heavens opened and the raindrops were huge!!!! Serves them right!

    Sleep well MC--sweet dreams.

Spinach is wonderful Cheri--I made sure there was no broccoli. Made a pasta salad for the 4th and daughter said eewwww broccoli! I told her little trees are good for her--she said white trees are better. She loves cauliflower.

  19. ((Cheri))

*spits Patron on monitor picturing SM laughing at the idiots*

Oooooo a pasta salad without broccoli? Do tell. I HATE broccoli. LOVE cauliflower though.

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  22. *looks ashamed* lol'

Cheri I love cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and cabbage.

Wish I knew how to cook them - lol. I should have paid attention when my mom and dad did it.

  23. Hey I want some please! I'd like a nice mixed green salad tossed in blue cheese dressing with extra blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles and bacon pieces tosse din too. Some nice sour dough bread lighty buttered and a arge glass of water!

  24. It's okay HM--great monitor cleaner--and it has that brass bar glow effect!

HM I steam my brussel sprouts with about 2 tablespoons butter. I have a Tupperware steamer bowl with a spout in the lid. I put in the brussel sprouts after a good wash, about 1/4 cup water, and 2 tablespoons butter. Then microwave 8-10 minutes. They are not my cup of tea, but hubby says they are fantastic. I do the same thing with a head of cauliflower--very easy to steam in a microwave--and faster than stovetop!

  25. Mmmmmmmm - ok dahling. I'll try it.

((Ange)) How are you and your babies??

Posted 2 years ago by HuddysMama #

  26. Oh guess what!?

Mystie and Max have a new kitchen cat tree! I moved the little one from the kitchen into my room at the bedside window! They now have a 3 tiered one that has a large top bed and large flat places on the bottom two tiers and a little sissle hanging from the top bed! Grandpa gave me the money to buy it!

See I was supposed to go back to petco today and get the exact same one as was in the kitchen which we saw in there on Saturday. Since petco has a 10% or 15% OFF CAT TREES right now. Well i got a call to go to work early this morning. So it was 745 am when i got the cal they wante dme there by 9 wel 5 mintues to I called telling them I was stuck in traffic and wasn't gonna make the 9 so they said they were doing fine now and to jsut get here and work from 11 to 3 to help with lunches. So I was sitting there after I ate and was liek hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I alsways wanted to go into the pet store close to work so i did and found a tree I really really liked. So called parents and asked if it would be okay to devate fromt he plan, and then I told them the tree was 113 and 30% was the sale off that price making the tree jsut under 80 bucks whihc was cheaper and larger then the petco one we were gonna get. So I folded my back seats down and had them put it in and then went back to work and read a bit before goign in to work. Both ahve scented the tree and played on it haha and man Mystie was goign nuts she is fearless!

Posted 2 years ago by Momma to 2 MaineCoons #

Glad to see the babies are well. They'll be hanging out before you know it.
