A friend suggested taking a road trip, and I happen to have Mon-Thurs off next week. I brought up the fact that I have family in Seattle, and we could make it up there in 1 (long) days drive (we live in Sacramento), spend 2 days in Washington, and drive home. Sooooo, if we can still pay the bills after time off next week, we'll be on the road next week!

Well, turns out the trip to Seattle was just too short notice. We need to wait until we can comfortably fund a road trip. But. I was looking online tonight to see prices to fly out to New York next summer, and it's definitely do-able! My brother will be going with me. I'm going to start saving up! It's going to be a "Happy Graduation" gift to myself.
