   Hello! I'm here! Computer problems again...I need a new battery desperately. If I breathe too hard on my AC adapter, the whole thing shuts down. And my battery won't take a charge for even a second. But after the move a new battery isn't in the budget, either. Must coddle this computer.

   So good to know I was missed!

   I am picturing you having to hold your breath to type--not a good way to type at all! What type of battery--I maybe able to help there. Since we do work on computers we have part around. If I can help, I sure would like to!

   SM, you're a sweetie!!!! I have a MacBook. The plain white kind. I've not opened it yet to look at the cursed battery. And yes, I do hold my breath while I type. I've lost several long emails and that is soooooo frustrating.

   Another way to work around that is to type long emails in a word processor that autosaves. Then cut and paste into the email editor. That way you only need email open long enough to type address and paste.
