It's in the 70's again today which is nice and we will be outside for a bit enjoying the weather. It's supposed to rain on and off all weekend so who knows how our weekend will really be. We have 2 birthday parties to go to as well on Sunday...agh!

Good morning all. I am popping in before heading for the rain room aka shower. Fed my kitties and was printing out something I wanted.
Kilroy sorry you aren't feeling well and that the government is going to ban the one item that helps with your headaches. Hopefully your docter can help with this.
If Sylvester gobbles his food too fast he sometimes yaaks it back up too. Hasn't done it lately so maybe he has learned for the moment.
I missed MS. Sweet dreams.
Temperatures are cooling down a little and will be in the high 60's to low 70's. I like this kind of weather. No fog this morning so it is a little cool right now (around 53 degrees) and looks likes it will be a sunny day out.
No reaction yet on the letter I left for the owners of the apartment complex. I figure I will give them till the end of the week and then if still no response, I will figure they either do not care or are just delaying things to figure out what to do.
I am off to the rain room aka shower to go to work, ugh. Tried to win the lottery last night. I am putting off checking it just so I can dream a little more about what I would do if I ever won. TTYL.

Joan, it's not working!!! CM, I hear you about the July birthdays! Well I will let everyone in on a little secret....my birthday is the 9th of July...and yes, we have alot of July birthdays, too, and NO, I won't tell my age....teehee! Morning SMM....I hope you get a positive response from your landlord!
-
Hi CM, if you're still around!
Well, the one winning ticket in the Megamillions last night was sold in New York, but it wasn't me, boo hiss! Then again, I think that might cause as many problems as it solved.
Sorry to disappear earlier, Mike came back from the (closed) tennis courts and we had a second coffee together, which was nice. Now I'm at w**k.

Good morning, Everyone! We got to sleep late today because it's a "non-gym day". What a treat!
Kilroy, I'm so sorry about the headache! I saw a thing on a tag line on the news the other day that Congress is considering banning Nyquil and other cold medications because people are using it as a cheap way to get high. Nanny Nation is about right. What are we coming to???
July birthdays? Mr. WWM's birthday is this Friday!

It is a beauty of a day in Milwaukee today! I'm back from being up in the
wilderness (Up Noth)! Left the kits at home...thought they could use some
bonding time! They didn't tear the place up and Dot didn't beat up Crockey...they were tres happy to see moi and ditto for me/them! Pass a nice
cup of Java my way...I need it to start me short work week! -
Birthdays in July..Mia's will be two years old on July 9th. I plan to go out and get her some fresh roasted chicken as that is her favorite.
In my family the big birthday month is August. We had birthdays on 2nd, 8th, 11th, 15th, 21st, and 29th. There was my grandparent's anniversary on the 3rd (not celebrated since my grandfather died about three years ago) and sister just got married to her second husband on Aug 1st last year.
The mega lotto isn't stating where the winning ticket is but I will take your word for it Kilroy. Yes, with all that money can come solutions but it is also a lot of responsibility. One must move, change their phone number and become more cautious of which people they stay in contact with and what kind of people to deal with to protect the money. I would just be happy with enough to pay off my bills, buy a new home with new furnishings, a new car, be able to take a few trips anywhere I wanted, some money in the savings account and money left over to help my family and a few other people. $133 million (approximately $49 million after lump sum and taxes) would have been more than enough to do all that.

Kilroy, I will gladly be your gym buddy and I'm always ready to kick some... well, you know. But in your case it will be a little harder to do that because I know that you don't feel well. Maybe you could go and just walk on the treadmill or bike for a little while. Now, for those times when you feel fine but just don't want to go.... look out! I can be a terrible nag. My gym buddy here says that I must have been a drill SGT in a former life.
I ordered Jillian Michaels "Hot Bod in a Box" and it came yesterday. Pretty cool. It's 50 exercises on flash cards so that they can go to the gym with you. And then it has like five circuits you can set up for training. Mr. WWM sweetly told me that I already have a hot bod, but I told him that I don't think these have anything whatsoever to do with hot flashes.

LOL, WWM but I agree with Mr. WWM based on the pictures I've seen.
Exercise actually helps the stupid headache temporarily, if I do enough of it to get my blood flowing. It's just the getting up out of bed that's hard, since lying flat also helps (I think because it evens out the CSF in my head).

Haven't been on in awhile. Miss hearing about everyone. Things are alright here. I have 2 finals tomorrow for summer classes, then in 2 more weeks another one of my classes end. Then I have 2 more classes that start on Monday and don't end until August. I can't wait until they are done and over with because then I'll have 2 weeks of summer before classes start.
-
ginirosaru, how are your kitties doing? Good luck with your finals!

Thanks SMM! They are both doing well. Since it's gotten hotter outside both babies are loving to sleep in the bath tub together now which is pretty cute. How are you and your kitties?
Kilroy, I will graduate on time in Spring (so 2 more semesters after this). By taking summer courses though it makes it so my load is less heavy in fall and spring (only 4 courses each semester instead of 5) so it won't be as hard to work and go to school because last semester I took 16 credits and worked and it just about killed me. Haha. It stinks now, but it's for the better for fall and spring :)
-
SMM you want to win the Lotto over here - it's tax free! But I agree £133 million would JUST about be enough for me to do everything I want to.
Got back safely from the Theme Park. We actually managed to get back to school about 15 minutes early and then some of the parents didn't arrive until 35 minutes AFTER the return time printed in the letter to them. I think that is just soooooooo rude. One mother said, Oh I'm sorry. I heard there was heavy traffic on the M25 so I thought you'd be late. I gave each of the parents a phone tree and told them I would activate it if we were going to be late. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

...ok guys, I REALLY need some of that great TDK white light and prayers .... the news here just reported 10 cases of the SWINE FLU at Univ. of Central Fla. - WHERE MY DAUGHTER IS CURRENTLY ATTENDING SUMMER QUARTER!.... 2 have died..... I'm TERRIFIED!........HELP!.... I feel just don't know what to do!... I feel so helpless!.....
-
AV, prayers up for your daughter. Call her and tell her to go and get hand sanitizer and either sanitize her hands or wash them FREQUENTLY throughout the day. Also remind her to not touch her face, eyes, nose or eat without first washing her hands. Let her know that at the first sign of feeling achy or "off" to go to the doc and get on tamiflu.

Thanks KK, I have encouraged her to use hand sani.... she's pretty much of a germaphobe anyway (my whole family is)..... I'll just warn her to be extra careful!....... it really does terrify me, I don't what the college can do about it - I'll be waiting anxiously to see how they address this!......Prayers are appreciated!

Morning all - any coffee left in the pot? I'm working from home today and missing my office coffee machine and have no hubby here to make my coffee like he normally does. I can never get my plunger coffee tasting as good as he does.
Re swine flu - we have had 5 deaths here in NZ from it - mostly the people have had underlying health problems. The city I work in has been hit hard with it. My manager has been working at home all week as her two kids possibly have it. They are doing OK - headaches and coughs. But our workplace has a policy that means my manager can't come back to work until next week. It's been so calm at work without her dramas!

Ahhhhh! Thanks Kilroy - you're a life-saver! Just dropped off miniKK at her school holiday Farm Club programme - she spends all day on vaulting horses ie gymnastics on the back of a horse! Smells great when she gets home - NOT!

KK, it's a scary flu!..... 1 of the two deaths was a student, young!.... so sad.... I don't know if her immune system was ok or not, they haven't really said.... only reported that she was a forein exchange student..... people are wondering if she brought it in to this area?..... not much information has been publish yet..... arrrrgghhh!......
-
AV, take a deep breath! And remember that a regular flu can cause many deaths in the population that might be immune compromised. THE best way to avoid flu are is the obvious one of hand washing. And also not sharing anything with anyone. I'm sure that if the administration and health officials at the school feel there is a danger of an outbreak, they will take measures - canceling classes, maybe.
Is it going around a certain dorm? Does it seem to be isolated to one part of the campus? Those are things that might give you an idea of what is happening. Did all of the students who got the flu eat in a certain cafeteria?
Try not to panic but you will have the famous TDK white light and prayers covering, too!
