Hello my friends, what a strange day. Got to my breakfast cereal a good 15 minutes earlier this morning, as no old whiskery face demanding instant food and clearing up after - and then no whiskery old face diving into my leftover milk before I'd finished. Mr MCW got home before me tonight, and missed the old whiskery face demanding instant food/clearing up after/attention. And tonight there's more room on one of the sofas...it really got to both of us today, and I think the three monsters are a little confused too.

I can't feel sorry to have let him go - he was so ready, you could tell - but it's so strange now he's not around. He wanted and needed so much attention... it's just sad and odd.

It's almost time to go home! YAY!
Today didn't seem too long, eventhough I had to go straight from the first job to the gym to work at three. I'm sure it's because I know the weekend's just around the corner!
Waiting to go home but not in too much of a rush since GG is here! We texted throughout the afternoon and evening last night and some today as well! I have to get myself a phone with a full key board - I'm going nuts texting on my regular phone! -
LOL @ GD, those phones really are annoying if you don't have a full keyboard to text with! So glad you are "chatting" a lot. That is a great sign! What are your plans for the weekend?

Hi MC!
Tomorrow I'm working 8-1 and then meeting my friend at Panera. I'm probably staying over at OB's house tomorrow night again. A tennis friend is having a party tomorrow night that she sent me an invite to. If anyone I know is going, I may pop in - don't know yet.
Other than that, i'll try to do as little as possible!Wonder what GG is doing......

It sure is! There's one by the job I work in the mornings and I've been stopping there in the morning before work for a cup of tea. They keep the office freezing cold (colder than the gym!) so hot tea is nice!
I hadn't heard from OB in a day or so, so I texted him today and asked how his wife was. He texted back that she's doing pretty much the same and resting up. She's got a long road ahead of her!
My dad called me today and I couldn't pick up since I was at the new job. He wanted to chat, but I couldn't get the phone. I'll buy a phone card and call him this weekend. At least he's home from the hospital.

Back again, had to go out for a bit. Now home and trying to cool off, its 102F outside and supposed to be up to 108F tomorrow.
Kilroy, SMM, and Linda, I do shred all my documents and statements for the bank actually anything with my account # on it, its the first problem with them since '92. I have been with Chase thru all their name changes and up to now have never had an issue with them.

Oooof, 102!!! And I thought our 95 degrees were bad!
I closed the gym late because GG wasn't done working out - I let him finish and waited for him til 8:15. Then we chatted outside and got bitten up by mosquitoes. He asked me if I was doing anything tomorrow and told me he;'d give me a call!!! :)

GD, seems that you are making progress in the GG side of the program :) It's only 100F now, there is a very slight breeze, and very black clouds out there but it probably won't rain @ my house :(
