Good morning, all!
I've been trying to finish off the evil Friday New York Times crossword, got it down to just a few squares and am hoping Mike can figure those out when he gets home. We have a silly rule that we can't move on to the next one until we finish the previous day's.
Today's paper just hit the mat, so I'm off to see if the world ended while I was sleeping :) Back in a bit.

Hi Kilroy! How is your head feeling!? Mine is actually feeling much better, I think the steroids are working. Only thing is they keep me wide awake at night. I finally got up and was watching infomercials. I feel like FondaHonda though I haven't bought anything yet! How is single life treating you? You and Georgie keeping busy? I wish I could come spend time with you two and we could swap brain stories! :D

Maddie is spending the night over grandmas tonight and tomorrow we have our nephews 7th birthday party and my sisters 61st birthday party! Today is my nephews 20th birthday, we are celebrating his birthday next week and he graduates from fire school next Sat and he is an official fireman!I am trying out a new cell phone...it's the Treo and it has an actual keyboard, not like my old phone and keeps appts etc...If I don't like it I am going back to my old flip phone...This one is a bit bigger and bulkier...

Morning CM! I have been up since 248am. The steroids are keeping me awake. I know what you mean, I want to go back to Europe. I realy want to meet our friends in the UK, they seem like such a fantastic and fun group! I just got a new phone like the one you got. It takes getting used to a bigger phone but soon you won't know how you made it without it, TRUST me! I was talking to Ginger over on Facebook, Redford isn't doing well today!

Popping back in for a minute... My head is being evil, MC, but thanks for asking. I actually took a Vicodin at work yesterday, and it helped. Luckily they don't make me so wonky that I can't work.
Hubby is leaving on Tuesday, before sparrow fart even, so I have a couple more days before I have to figure out what to do with myself.
Sorry to hear Redford's not doing well :( I hope Ginger will keep us updated.
I'm planning on going to the gym today, and I really should go to the library and get some books to keep me busy while Mike's away.
Hi CM! Hope the new phone works out. Can you believe I don't even have a cellphone? I'm such a dinosaur :)

Hey there MC! Going to the Hallmark store this morning for the ornaments premiere, never hang them with the cats but buy them every year. Actually this year will be a light year, probably just the Barbie 50th Anniversary for my dau, superhereos for her hubby and something for the grandbaby. Just really not up to it this year. Other than that, not much else planned the weather will be entirely too hot as it is expected to be about 106+ today. What are your plans for this Saturday?

Kilroy, I never had a cell phone till I met Wayne and he got me one and said I needed it for emergencies at least. I use it more than him now. It's nice to have especially if I am out with the girls and I can use it if there is a problem or Wayne can reach me :)
Ginger, Victor and Redford has all my thoughts and prayers.

I need to do laundry, clean the house and clean out my car! Whether all of that will be done remains to be seen. I need to get some groceries and cat litter and that WILL have to happen. The litter box needs to be taken care of. Besides that, no big plans. I didn't realize it was the ornament preview, I may cruise on by a Hallmark store myself. I love their ornaments but do not put them up either due to the girls!

MC, for litter, PetSmart has the 27lb tub of Tidy Cats on sale and some of the tubs have another $2 off coupon...if you use that brand. You sound like you have a full day planned with all the cleaning. If I could figure out how to hang the Xmas tree upside down I would put ornaments out. As it is I have three metal hangers that hold from 4-6 ornaments out, one in each bathroom and one in the kitchen...they have my fav ornaments and no one messes with them.

MC, the sale for the litter is on until 8/30 and with the additional coupon is a very good deal. And if you go and your local PetSmart has the lick kitty thing, might want to consider that for your babies too. I forgot to check yesterday for it when I went, yes I admit I suck when not remembering them first and foremost!

Thanks for the heads-up about the pet litter at Petsmart! I hate going in there on Saturdays, though, because I get really distracted by all of the kitties up for adoption. Sometimes, I get back into my car and cry because it saddens me seeing all of them without a forever home.
My perfect, sweet Bailey turns into a monster around the LickKittys!! She snatches them up and runs from Bosley!

I'm so sad about dear old Redford! I feel so bad for RW - they're best buddies. I'm saying a prayer for the old boy.I'm at work now - 8-1. Probably meeting my Panera friend once I get out of here. Closed the gym last night with GG and ended up chatting. He asked me if I have plans this weekend and told me he'd give me a call! Still not sure if he wants to just be friends or more than that.....
