ooh, I would love an angus ribeye, medium well with grilled sliced buttered potatoes, broccoli (gotta have something healthy here) and an ice cold diet pepsi, no ice. i've worked hard all day, getting ready for Velvet's party, among other things, and later on i'll have to clean salmon frosting from the carpeting, the furniture, and no doubt, the ceiling. so, i'm going to relax for a while ...

Hi, GD, MC and SM! I'm just back from four days in Sisters, Oregon with my sweetie, our daughter, my sister, her husband and their daughter for some quilting classes and fun. We had a wonderful time. I think my niece is now hooked on quilting even though she has almost no sewing experience. :)
GD, I hope GG texts you soon. You deserve some fun, but not at the expense of your getting caught up on your sleep!
MC, I hope you get some sleep tonight too. Just catching up with the threads here and saw that you are not sleeping due to the steroids you've been prescribed. Bummer!

I'm ready to just give up on the whole going out tonight idea. I texted him 40 minutes ago and it 9:45 here already!!! If I get to sleep really late, my day tomorrow will be shot.
What do you think, should I text him back and suggest we do it another time? Don't want to miss an opportunity here, but I'll be all stressed about trying to get back to OB's house at a reasonable hours. -
If he contacted you right now, what would you have time to do that wouldn't conflict with your kid sitting commitment, GD? If you have run out of time, text him and suggest doing something tomorrow (give him a window of time and a suggestion of an activity). :)

GD, sounds reasonable to me, you had a committment with your OB to stay with his daughter and maybe another night would be much better.
Its almost 7 p.m. and its still 103F here, all I want is a little bit of rain for it to cool off....its supposed to be monsoon season, me thinks they fib! Oh well such is life in the Old Pueblo aka Tucson, lol.

KW, glad that you had a wonderful trip to Sisters, Oregon. The heat is oppressive and tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 109F, sigh.

Evening again my friends, getting ready for my Monday to begin....not ready for the weekend to end so soon. May not be able to come on this evening, may be training one of the new guys for the next couple of days until his trainer gets back from his leave......so if I don't see the late night shifters, have a good night's sleep and scritches to the kits come morning >^..^<
