It's the wee hours of the morning and I think I will go in and get the cafe' ready for another day. I unlock the cafe' and find all the kitties sound asleep without a care in the world. I go into the kitchen to start preparing the food for the buffet. Soon I am greeted by a large orangie and decide to feed the kitties first. I load up the buffet with scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits. There is a make your own omelet station today. I put out bagels, scones, muffins, donuts, cinnamon rolls and warm cinnamon apple coffee cake with icing drizzled across the top. There are raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, canteloupe, and pineapple. Fresh whipped creme for your berries. Hot and cold cereals are available. The champagne fountain is unlocked. There are hot and cold beverages alike. Good morning/afternoon/evening to all in TDK land. Please enjoy the buffet today, brought to you by Betty and Wilma! Happy Sunday!

Good Morning Deb and MC. It's nice a quiet as Abbie is not up yet. I got up about 15 minutes ago. Tea is brewing..and the day is about to begin. Yea...Will be gone from about 11-6pm tonight since we have 2 parties to go to. But it will be fun, especially for Maddie.
So get this..last week on Wednesday we called the phone comp. since we had wires that were on our garage, he came out and tightened them up and no problem..well since then we are having trouble with our phone and internet. We can call out on our phone but if we get a phone call, then the phone doesn't ring or it does a half ring. Then if the phone rings, it messes up the internet, and it goes down, plus it's already slower than normal..so we have to get the phone guy back out to see what the heck he did. Oh MC...I have been there. That started for me when I was pregnant with Maddie...up at 2-3am then couldn't go back to sleep till very much later. I wish I knew of something you could take that would be okay with your meds and condition and that would work!

I used to do that too MC when we got the paper. I would be so ticked when it wasn't there. I gave them till 7am on Sunday's ...6 on the weekdays.

LOL, with me sometimes taking Mr MS to work before the sparrows have even thought of farting I have bumped into or been waiting for the paper deliverer. Certainly surprised him at 5.30am. I normally hear his vehicle quietly drive in and out between 5am and 5.30 but last week I had to wait until almost 7am. That wait was terrible, I need my paper.

we stopped the paper, we weren't reading it..we were only getting it for the ads but now you can see all the ads online, so that's what we do.

Morning, all!
I have to confess, if it were just me I would probably stop getting the paper. I get inundated with so much news all day at work, and I could sign up to just have access to the crossword puzzle online and print it out (can't stand doing them on the computer).
I'm about to go start getting ready to go to the gym; I didn't do very well there yesterday because my head hurt but I'm going to try again. Stupid head still hurts, but I'm trying to keep moving.

MC, I enjoy the real paper too but it kept getting smaller, the price went up and well, I was getting depressed on all the news in there..rarely was there positive.

I too enjoy the physical paper in front of me and when it's finished with it gets used for all sorts of things, in the garden as weed mat, lighting the fire, wrapping bits and pieces on rubbish day so dogs can't smell the tasty bits of fat and bone from a roast. What I don't use gets recycled.
Time for me to head off to bed, HRH Shadz is outside after sleeping the entire evening away on Airy's bed. The rain has stopped so I guess she is off stalking the mice that have come out to feed now that it's dry. She'll probably scoot in the door when Mr MS heads off to work, then slip into bed and snuggle with me.

Rats, I missed MS again! Morning, CM, MC, Kilroy and Deb. It was so cold here today, I got into bed again after lunch, fully clothed, as it was the only place I wasn't shivering. The cats joined me! It is apparently the coldest winter here for many, many years, and our normal winters in the Wairarapa are cold enough. Most people here burn wood all day long (as electricity is humungously expensive in this area)but I am scared I will burn the house down -- it happened to a house across the street from me and we only have a volunteer fire brigade so they have to get to the fire station before they can get to us! I have always been a real sissy about open fires, they scare me!
I love having a real paper too but there is no denying, they are getting thinner and thinner and more expensive -- so why would you buy one when you can read it on line? Besides, neither of the two newspaper companies here actually care about their journalists or treat them well so go figure... (Does that sound bitter? Tee hee, I am!)
Coupons? We don't get coupons in NZ. Waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
(Well we get a few but nothing like the offers you guys seem to get!)
