Thanks ladies!!!
I'm tired from working 60 hrs. a week but it's worth it so I can get my car fixed. I wouldn't have been able to working just 30 hrs. a week at the gym. I'll have to work both jobs for a while longer to pay for everything, but that should help me make a better decision when the time comes. -
Not to mention it gives you more confidence in yourself at your new job! Doing happy dance!

Yay for MC and Tina on the man friends. Glad you have found someone who so far is good for you.
Congrats GD on getting an appt with Tiffany's!! That is great! 60 hour week is a lot of hours so I hope that the new job works more and more for you. As my Dad says, if you have to work, do something you like doing. Unfortunately for me what I like to do doesn't pay enough to live on (so I save it for the day I win the lotto or inherit enough that I can work at a job I would rather be doing).
30 minutes till I can leave..yay! Stomach is not happy with me and I think the milk at work doesn't agree with me. I drink organic 2% milk at home and I have no problems with it.

Wow, GD, that doesn't sound like such a good move on new bosses' part especially with the way the economy is going. Doesn't he realize that people are cutting back? It seems like the gyms around here with a 'pay monthly as you go' with no contract are very popular. People are uncertain of their employment and don't want to be stuck in yearly contracts. You might want to mention this to him (if you feel comfortable enough to do so) as a new incentive to get more people in the doors---NO CONTRACTS, PAY AS YOU GO!!!!

FH, lots of gyms by me have gone to that. Pay as you go, no obligation.

GD sounds like you are doing great at your new job, persistence pays off. I can tell by your posts that people respond well to you. People skills are way underrated, but for most jobs people skills and a good work ethic make all the difference in the world, no matter what degree or technical certifation you might have!

We've always done contracts you can cancel with 30 days' notice and no initiation fee. This way people aren't too nervous to sign up and usually once they join, they stay.
The last thing we need is higher prices!Karin, I don't really enjoy either of my jobs. I like the gym because there are some nice people there (and GG!) and the new job I like the chance to make a bit more money.

yes GG is VERY important!

I hear you GD. Very important that GG is there! ;-)
I don't like my current job either but it pays the bills and I like some of the people I work with. I am thankful I have a job in the horrible economy.

I like the people at the new job, too, actually! There are not that many - two bosses (I only really deal with one of them) and 4 appointment setters.
As for GG, at least I've been seing him a bit outside the gym so quitting here doesn't necessarily mean I'll never see him again.
Tonight's a non-GG night and we didn't text, either :(
He should be here tomorrow, though :) -
Friday is a GG day! YAY

Oh, gosh, SM - food poisoning just.... ummmm ...... sucks. But I'm assuming by that they don't think that you have the flu, so that is a good thing. The bad thing about food poisoning is that you get so sick you just can't see straight, but it's generally over in 24 hours. And just think of the weight that you will lose! :-)
Drink some herbal teas, water, gatorade, and be sure that you stay hydrated.
