So I decided to get a new kitten so Snow could have a friend. I am going to get this new kitten today. I need some advice on introducing this baby. She is 9 weeks old and snow white is 11mths. The owner of the kitten said, the mother was tested for FIV and leukemia, so the baby is negative. Good thing. Anything else I should be concerned about?
Thanks for any help

Snow White is hissing at the kitten and she is staying growling at me too. She never did this. I guess she feels threatened??

I just figured it out, Snow is not hissing at the kitten. She is hissing at me. They are playing together (I think), but when I pick her up, she hisses at me to put her down. She just seems fascinated with this new kitten. She follows her everywhere and they are chasing the balls around. I am still going to put the kitten away, so she can eat and Snow can easily adjust.

Haha ~ the growling is she? Well, that is typical in the beginning. Because your new one is so young and Snow is almost a year old, don't leave them alone and unsupervised until you're sure they get along OK. Keep them separated if you can't be there. That may take a while, at least a week, perhaps longer. You'll need to intervene if the baby appears to be in any danger from Snow. Do you have a name picked out yet? Can you post pics for us???
I introduced a kitten to my 10 month old meezer years ago, and he pouted and growled at the little one for at least a week; he would get on top of the fridge and just stare down at the little one, growling under his breath. He looked like Snoopy in the Peanuts comic strip when he used to stare down from the top of his doghouse :-) Actually the kiten, Bixby, was having none of his attitude, and did everything he could do to win over my meezer. It took a while, but it was well worth it because they grew to be best of friends ~ playing and sleeping together ~ they were really inseparable.
Concats on your new baby!!

TY Kittymom. Well I plan on keeping them separate until I know for sure. The young one is just exploring making sure everything is ok. Snow is just following her and sniffing her. Oh, her name is Belle. So now I have 2 Disney princesses! lol. My problem is...how do I keep the foods separate. Because Snow is already on adult food. Belle ate Snow's food before I could separate it. Well tomorrow when I am at work, Belle will be in one room away from Snow, so I guess she will know the difference then??

Unless you feed them separately, you might just have to mix the kitten food with the adult food. Kitten food could add a little extra weight to Snow, but she'll work that off as she romps around with her new sister.
