theres something wrong with my jaw i thought it was just locked but its been like this since tuesday and its the bone not muscles its so bad i cant even eat i have a dr appointment monday and its swolen too

Is this because of abuse from your brother? You should get the swelling on camera to use when the police say it is your fault--they can't argue that you were not injured with a swollen jaw. Also you were just released from the hospital 4 days ago, remember you told us about the blood transplant you had to have because of the extrememly heavy blood loss due to your period, and you were diagnosed with endomitriosis. Did the doctor see any swelling them? If he did and it is in your medical record again you can take that to the police--surely that will be enough to get you the help you need to get a restraining order. Prayers that you are able to sort things out soon.

no its not from my brother he didnt touch me this time and it seems more like a really bad ear infection cuz the whole side of face hurts and my ear and my head on that side it kinda just started so im freaking puzzled lol

ILCF, if it is a possible ear infection, and if you are unable to get medical attention, you could try laying with that side of your face on a heating pad. Not too hot, though. If you don't have a heating pad, you can put a wet towel in the microwave and get it hot. Then wrap the towel in a plastic bag. Wrap it up in another towel and lay with the side of your face on the towel.

ILCF, my dad had the kind of pain you're describing too; he went to the dentist, and luckily, the dentist realized it wasn't a dental problem, it was shingles!! Apparently, shingles can appear/present as extreme pain around one side of the jaw, face, and ear; you should get some medical advice as quickly as you can. If it is shingles, the doctor can prescribe medication to lessen the severity of the attack as well as some pain meds.....

ILCF--it could be a combination of TMJ and a sinus infection. I've had the same thing happen to me and it was soooooooo painful to just open my mouth (my students loved it!). The right side of my face was swollen and the infection had gotten into my jaw. Within a few hours of starting antibiotics, I was fine. Just something to think about. . . best of luck in becoming pain free!

Not even going to venture a guess but I AM going to send you prayers and hugs! My heaven's you have been thru the ringer! Sending up many prayers to Heaven on your behalf! I think there are many kitties at the bridge looking down on you as your guardian angels. Please go to the ER if the pain gets too bad.

hey guys im back from the ER i have a ear infection TMJ and a sinus infection all in 1 they gave me pain medication and put me on a strict liquid diet since i cant chew without pain which is oh so fun but yeah i think its safe to say im cursed lol

So glad you went to the ER. I'm sure they gave you an antibiotic also. Be sure to finish it! Even if you feel better in a few days. You will get through this little setback and we are here with and for you, as you have things you need to do to take care of yourself regarding your brother. Stay out of his way till you can get out of there.
