  7. Sylvester and Mia send a friends invite. Your Mr. Woo is a beauty. How did you come up with her name?

Posted 2 years ago by SylvesterMiasMomma #

  8. She went through a lot of names when we first re-homed her (and yes she is a 'she' although I do refer to her as 'he' due to her masculine name...poor cat, must be so confused!) She arrived from the cats' home as 'Tinkerbell' which she rightfully scorned (apologies to any other Tinkerbells, just didn't suit her one bit!). After a while of different names trying to find one to fit, I was reading an article (I think in the National Enquirer, shamefully!) about the world's smallest dog, whose name was Mr Woo...anyhow my Mr Woo took a fancy to the magazine, sat on it, etc, as if to say 'that's the one' !

I know it's a cliche but after she was ill (in a diabetic coma, twice, first time very nearly died and was in the cat hospital for a week, second time not quite so bad thank god)she did become much more attached to me & of course I love her even more now after nearly losing her !

  19. Hi Hammo, nice to meet Mr Woo, she's gorgeous! My old boy Titch was diabetic for about 3 years - then just as suddenly, he wasn't anymore! Apparently, cats can "grow out of it" - so keep an eye on her, as the coming out of it stage usually involves a hypo out of nowhere. Keep us on our toes don't they?!

  20. AWWWWWWWWWWWW ur cat is sweeeettttt!

  21. Hi, Hammo,

  22. Tried clicking on your name - the link won't work.

    Posted 2 years ago by Pollys_Mum_in_UK_26/05 #

  23. Thanks MCW, he thought of another hypo scares me silly, the vet advised me to keep some glucose at home to give to Mr Woo if it ever happens again, but twice is more than enough for me !

  27. Hammo...Mr.Woo is beautiful. I think it's funny being that she's a she with a Mr. in her name.

  28. Nirmal...I melted when I saw Muffy. She could be twin to my dearly departed Julie. The toeties always have such a sweet personality to them.

Posted 2 years ago by feral #

  29. Hi susie! Awwww, my condolences for Julie! Yeah, muff's a trip. She's quite round too, and a bit heavy. She's actually a kinda soemtimes moody tortie, but always fun. She used to be scared to death of me, until I had to literally take her from my relative, because he was abusing her. He would kick her and let her run loose even after getting complaints from neighbours. Now, she comes up to me when she wants me to open the cellar door, and I hold her...soemtimes she sits at the pc with me. One of these days she might read what all you sweet folks write! hahah!
