My new avatar pic, which dates from yesterday, says it all..... We are talking 6 weeks of kitten RAGE on miso's part, and complete innocent unawareness on sumi's side, all amounting to complete despair on meowmy's part. Not helped by the tiny tike disappearing from miso's radar for 5 days while she was so sick, so, step back 2 weeks..... But, my 6 weeks super-perseverence integration techniques programme paid uber-dividends, AS YOU CAN SEE. New best furever friends - YAAAY!!!! I am so GLAD!!!! (Just thought I'd share..) >^^<

Thank you! And thank you SMM - even reading your kind words has tears in my eyes, as Lolita was the love of my life and my soul mate, and losing her May of last year was the hardest thing imaginable. 18 years together, through thick and thin, it's hard. She and I were together through 2 relationships (mine) and 4 homes. She was my baby, my girl, my lovely lolie, and yes, she was very beautiful. But these two are just gorgeous, and I love them just as much!!! Specially now they love being together and I look forward to a long life of joy with them (it's tough that our kitties live only for a percentage of our long human lives..)

unfortunately, ferrets have even a shorter lifespan - 6 years is old for a ferret...

They are both beautiful, and obviously are well bonded now-congrats on being such a good meowmy! I know how you feel about your Lolita-I think it will be a long time before I no longer mourn for Redford-but he will always be in my heart.
