Ring owner called me!!

  1. OMG, this sweet lady was so happy, and in tears...the ring belonged to her mother and she had passed away just a few months ago.
    This has made my day.
    Wanted to let you know that YES, it is better to give than to receive :)

  2. Oh, that is so nice, TL! I know that she is so grateful that it was you who found her ring. And that ring would be irreplaceable to her. Someone else could have found it and it would be at the pawn shop by now. Thank goodness it was you!

  9. I believe in angels and that angels use humans for their hands sometimes. She was meant to get that ring back and you were meant to be her angel. Somewhere, in this story, is something special for you. You may not know what it is today, tomorrow or next year, but a time will come. How lucky to be used by the angels!

  11. This may sound a bit crazed, but I do think her Mom must have had a part in this. As she cried , the lady told me that the ring would go in the safe from now on. I said, oh please no, I was certain that her Mom would want her to enjoy it. She should have it sized or wear it on a chain. She agreed :)

  12. There you go, TL! So the angels did a two-for-one! Thrifty and smart they are. I'm so glad it lifted your spirits. I know I would be tempted to keep it and sell it (money is so tight) but in the end, I know I too would have done the right thing. Bless you!

    This lovely event was a happy ending to a not so happy week.
