  1. Hello my TDK family! I'm sorry that it has been a while since I have posted. Abbey was here for a nice visit and I enjoyed every minute! She is most certainly pregnant and really loved that she could lower mom's air conditioner to 72 during the day and 68 at night. I can hardly wait for this little baby. She has chosen to find out the sex in about 3-4 weeks. On this visit she brought all of the black and white kitties. They had their visit with the vet and all were fine. There was a bit of hissing (George) and pushing for the best napping spot around here. They stayed about a week. Wilbur had a checkup at the vet school on Tuesday. His blood work was fine and he has regained all of the weight he lost. He does not need to gain anymore. I think they were trying to tell me that they do not want him to become a chubby kitty! We are all amazed that he is doing so well. He should have been gone about 4 times! What a wonder kitty. I cherish every day with him. He is such a good boy. He never complains when he takes his meds at all. His most favorite person (after me) is Abbey. We say that his "special good friend" is Abbey. It is so sweet. She walks in the house and all he wants to do is cuddle with her. He sleeps with her, naps with her and even chooses to sit next to her when she eats. It has been that way since he was a kitten. They are seriously bonded. I can't help but wonder what the kits reaction will be to the little baby. Has anyone out there brought home a new human baby recently? Any suggestions regarding introductions? Well, this has gone on way too long. My thoughts and happy feeling and love to all of you and of course hugs, purrs and headbonks! I am really looking forward to the Austin meet up! We are going to have a great time.

  4. I am glad that Wilbur has responded and is doing well! Good news that he is has been able to get his weight back. I bet Abbey loved the air conditioning--it is hot in her neck of the woods! There is nothing like summer in the Southwest! Glad you got to enjoy time with Abbey before your grandchild is here--it will provide special memories.
