Happy Saturday one and all! Kittehs waking up slowly as it is cool here, in the low 50s! Windows opened to allow the fresh air inside. Tables set with a nice summer tablecloth and fresh flowers. The buffet is loaded with all sorts of sweets and pasteries. The coffee/tea bar is open and kittehs are ready to serve. Come enjoy a leisurely weekend breakfast with us!

Hi, MC, how are you today? What have you got planned for the weekend? Something nice, I hope.
I will take chocolate croissants and milky coffee please and a tiny tortie kitty to snuggle. I have spent the day grocery shopping (yuck), stripping wood in my living room and still have a load of proofreading to do but it's been quite a good day...
Jasper has just come in to sit on the keyboard as usual, lol... How does he always know when I am a captive audience in front of the computer?

Okeydoke, CM you do my grocery shopping and I'll strip your wood ;-) You wouldn't have said that if you could watch me, CM, I have to do a little bit of work, then have a cuppa tea and a sit down, then maybe another little bit of work, then cuddle Jasper... I have developed lazy into a way of life :)
I'm just fine, how are you and Wayne and the girls? Are you surviving all those birthday parties :)

I will gladly shop for you. I really do enjoy it.
We are good here. All are still asleep. Abbie woke up for 15 minutes about an hour ago, so I gave her 3 ounces of a bottle and right back to sleep she went :)
I tell you, July is the birthday month for us. I can't believe how many we have had already.

Well they have had tickets for a while so they are trying to find one for me. No, they are not taking "dates" the two guys are both going thru divorces so they are on a "anti woman" jag right now. We met on a medical/emergency group on yahoo. Crazy huh?

Jas is sitting on the printer, looking reproachfully at me. He threw up earlier tonight (ick, cat barf again) so perhaps he thinks I should get up and feed him RIGHT NOW...
Libby has been turning up her nose at her beloved biscuits, I don't know if it's because the new bag is fish and rice instead of chicken (I alternate them) or whether she has some other complaint. She runs into the house for a pit stop, sniffs at the saucer, then she looks at me reproachfully too...
Oops, Jasper is chewing the dial-up line. If I disappear, you'll know why...

I'd forgotten that was today, MC, gosh, that is SUCH a long way, I would love to be as fit as he and WWM must be but I hope he takes it carefully in the heat. I would say he'd be better coming to NZ to cycle but the 'blizzards' down south and gale force winds might hinder his progress too...
Tee hee, CM, Jasper is even lazier than I am, usually he sleeps in longer than I do, lol, it is the only time he is not lobbying for food...
Fred, let your mama sleep in, she works so hard all day!

It is very cool..rainy too. We are supposed to get up to 72 today once it stops raining. it's about 60 here.
Lucky jcat..I would give anything for Fred to sleep in. He usually starts anywhere from 4:30 till I get up. Some days he doesn't start till 6 but there are days I see it's not even light out yet and I shoo him off the bed. He just catterwalls by my ear..Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Fred did let me sleep till 5:30 then started...I got up at 6:15...
Cat flap for sure jcat. It's hard enough to get up during the night once..let alone a few times.

Abbie is babbling..again...what the heck girl...they both went to bed late last night since we were over a friends house and Maddie and Elena played and played.

Betty pulled the "cute" routine! She laid her face next to mine and started rubbing against my cheek. Then a tiny mew and finally she threw herself over for belly rubs! Such big purrs she had!

Good morning all!
Busy day around here, cleaning up because a friend is coming to spend the weekend. I figured I should try to get rid of *some* of the cat hair at least. We're going to see the new Harry Potter movie tomorrow.
Most of you probably already saw this on the NS, sorry for the repetition, but Mr. K called last night from Ecuador. He needs to come home NOW! We miss him, and it's cold there. Plus our camera got stolen :( But he's safe, which is all that really matters.
George is being so good! He ran around like a crazy cat this morning, but now he's curled up on the remains of a paper bag (he does love to tear those to pieces).
