I'm glad she's doing okay apart from that, gosh, after your son's workplace fire, that's another shock you don't need. Popping into the NS office briefly. Fell asleep in front of the TV a short time ago, woke with a start. Thought I'd do something to wake me up and make Mr MS's lunch for work tomorrow. get to the kitchen and discover it's been invaded by ants. Oh great,(not the actual words I used)just what I didn't need at 11pm. i don't normally get ants inside as we are on a basement but I have a feeling their invasion is related to the weather. We have found ants to be a very good indicator of upcoming rain. I can't find where they are going to, just where they are coming from.I caused a disturbance in the trail tonight(breathes like Darth Vader) but will have to go on a total ant safari tomorrow.

Eeek, ants, ooh, did you see that great 1950s movie 'Them' about giant radioactive ants invading California...? That was one of my favourite Sunday night horror movies back in the day, TV2 must have played it over and over, I've seen it three times...

Hi Jcat, no I haven't seen that movie. My hands smell of formic acid from wiping the darned little things up, phew. If there is one thing I really hate it's finding a trail of ants inside and then add to that the smell. Yuk.

Update on my Mom, she is still doing ok, they can't seem to control her bp with various meds so far. Keeps spiking between 160-180/85 + but they are trying, there is a problem with her pulling the iv's out. Told them that she has short-term memory loss and forgets easily what's going on, the nurse(s) have said that helps them knowing that. So I guess it is a wait-and-see situation right now, at least she isn't is another coma like she was when the brain aneurysm occurred.
