God willing a good nights rest will continue to help him heal. Praying for good news on test results.

OK checking in for lunch! Gali seems more active this afternoon. He's been following me, he ate, and totally drank water on his own.
I have a migraine from sleeping wrong but I'll live. Not going to work now. Staying in bed if I can...
Scary note, I just heard MAX cough a few minutes ago. :(Posted 2 years ago by cathi in nc #

Sending more healing white light that Galileo continues to get better. Consoling hugs to you Cathi. I had my first kitty go through bronchitis at seven months after getting spayed (picked up at the local humane society where they had low cost spay/neutering). It was a very scary experience so I understand your concern.

SMM, I'd probably be besides myself if either of them were that young!
I am praying that when the vets me back with the test results that it is just pneumonia. He was on lunch when I called to tell them about Max coughing.

No word from the vet yet. I hope they call me soon.
Leeny, as much as I don't want Max sick again, you are so right.Posted 2 years ago by cathi in nc #

Soxsmom, I just called them and they said the results aren't in yet. The vet wasn't overly concerned with Max coughing yet. He said that since Max just finished a round of antibiotics, he probably is safe. Now, I need to monitor both cats...
On another note, I washed all their bedding in hot water last weekend (9 days ago) but I will be boiling them this week. Just not today, my head is killing me.Posted 2 years ago by cathi in nc #

If Max is already coughing it is too late to keep them apart--he should get antibiotics ASAP to stop it in it's tracks. It looks like heartworm is not the cause (thankfully). Continued prayers for health for everyone!
