I'm just popping in briefly, I'm going to play golf this morning.... so happy, it's been months, it will be so fun to see my girl friends and catch up with them!...... I probably forgot how to play, so my game could be ugly, but oh well!....... bathing myself in sunscreen as we speak, it's going to be 95 today with 2000% humidity..... hope I don't melt!

Yep, MS, I opened the front door, stood out in the howling wind and rain and showed myself to the world as God intended!
Luckily no one was out in that weather to see me... or there might have been the odd nervous breakdown and small children running screaming away...
I did, I got quite a bit of editing done, quite a bit of stripping and am glad I didn't go into Wellington today as the Rimutaka road was closed and the 5.18 commuter train from Wellington derailed coming out of a tunnel thanks to a land slip. The passengers have still not got home (luckily no one was hurt -- probably because our trains don't go very fast...)

Honestly, I am taking it easy! I didn't get up til 10, and am sitting down now (I did just strip the bed - more stripping!! - and put it on to wash, but I did have Eric's *help* for that...). I plan on slobbing in front of aforementioned daytime TV for the next couple of hours, then run a couple of errands (if arm's up to driving, if not they'll wait) then maybe a little tidying.

MCW, LOL at the bombsite comment. I had one of those beside my bed but tackled it and even installed a bookcase to (try) hold all my bedtime books. The trouble is that during the clean up some of the bombsite migrated to the foot of the bed. I figure if I make about 5 separate attempts I will slowly deplete the amount of 'stuff' as I follow it around the room until I actually achieve my goal. That is as long as I do it on a regular basis.

I stripped today too, the bed that is. Got all washed and hung out in the sun and wind and then the rain came. Grrrrrrrr

Well, I got the best night sleep I've had in a while, I must say. Mr. K was up by 4:30 and decided to go play tennis, I thought he might give himself a day off, but no. George was a bit peeved when daddy left this morning, I think he worries daddy's not coming back.
I really don't want to go to w**k today (don't I say that everyday?). Can I just go hang out with MCW? Sorry your arm hurts, btw.
Time to get dressed, will check back in later.
