  1. I am so sorry, MC, this totally, totally stinks! It is SO not fair that to say it's not fair is a total understatement. I will be thinking of you non-stop until we hear better news and am sending you whole Airbusloads of healing energy from Down Under. I wish there was something concrete we could do but you know we are all behind you, willing you to health. So many {{{HUGS}}} and so much love I'm sending to you!

  2. OMG! I cannot believe this, I am going to cry. Just talked to FF and they think he has MS. He is devastated as his dad has MS. We sure do make a pair, he said we are truly "two peas in a pod".

  3. Oh, MC. That is terrible news. Poor FF. I don't know what to say.

  4. *unable to think of the right words to say...prays for MC and for FF*

  5. You can have all my sanity--I'm not using it!

    I have to push like CBM said and make calls daily. This is your life and health, both are very precious. You are talking about preventative care for your body. It would be falling apart if you actually had a stroke. As I learned, take care of the issue before it becomes and major problem--please you are an important person!

  9. Just saw this thread and am sending healing white light and prayers to MC that the doctors can help you with this new health challenge. Sending some prayers for FF.

  10. MC that really stinks! If you are seeing every type of 'ologist', do try and avoid the proctologist! I'm sure you won't need that one. I'm hijacking Jcat's Airbus and loading more healing energy for both you and FF. Heaps of hugs for you too. {{{MC}}}.

  11. You are surrounded by many loving arms and kitty paws, MC. Remember how powerful the love and healing white light of TDK can be. You have it in abundance! Try to stay calm about this new development. You need more information. Once you have the test results in, you can figure out what you need to do to move forward with your life. This is surely a challenge for you, but you are not alone! :)

    You and FF are in my prayers. I hope FF's tests do not confirm MS, but if he does have it that he has many years of happiness and health still before him.

  13. Oh, MC,I am so sorry to hear they will be putting you thru all of this--when you posted before about your eyesight problem, I wanted to add a note, but for some reason have not been able to log in--my comp., I'm sure--but I wanted you to know--I have something that's called Ocular Migraines, and they show the same symptoms you described--fuzziness, then inability to see out of the eye, and afterward an immense headache, if I don't take meds when it first starts--several Drs. gave me all sorts of reasons for this, but it took an Eye Surgeon to pinpoint it--and it only took him a few minutes. Apparently it is very common, and he said the most usual reason that triggers it is stress, and Lord knows you've been under enough stress lately. If you have to see all of these "ologists, maybe the opthamologist should be the 1st to see.
    Hope this info helps in some small way--you are strong and determined and you will get thru this also---I will be asking for even more strength for you and FF--please know we are all here.(((((MC)))))

  14. Thanks all! I am going to start calling at 8am PST. My insurance is out of Portland, OR so I have to wait til they get in (I already called and got the recording about how their customer service comes in at 8am). I will also be calling the doc to make sure they did their part. I am still really numb and bummed out today. I feel like someone punched me in the stomach. I am definitely taking better care of myself entirely. I just talked with one of my PT's who also studied sports medicine. She recommended some pre-natal yoga. It is soft and gentle and they don't push it with pregnant women. She said it will be refreshing and I will get more toned from it. She is going home at lunch and getting me her videos (yes, REAL VHS tapes!). Maybe I won't feel like such a slug then too! I am gonna do some walking too at lunch. There is a school across the street and am gonna walk on their track.

  15. I just saw this thread, MC. Oh my gosh, I didn't know of all your challenges. From what I've seen you are a very strong woman and I know you will get through this with the love and support of this family. My prayers and white light for you and also FF. Dang what a bummer! I've posted this saying before, and I don't know what your beliefs are, but someone told this to me once: God doens't save us from drowning just to beat us up on the shoreline.

  16. Oh, MC! I just saw the post about FF, this is so unfair and awful. I am praying super hard for both of you that he doesn't have MS and that the doctors can sort out whatever is going on with you. In the meantime, know that you are surrounded with love and hugs and kitty kisses and white light.

  17. MC, I'm sitting here trying to think of something to say to make you feel "all better." I've already said a prayer for you and FF. And, of course, you have all the famous TDK white light headed your way. I'm going to pray also that the doctors get this all figured out and do whatever needs to be done to keep you healthy. {{hugs}}

  18. God never gives you more than you can bear, MC, and with all of us here to help you with our love and positive thoughts, You Can Do It.

    Be persistent, keep calling. Making calls gives you something to do, some measure of feeling in control, so will that yoga and any other relaxation techniques you can manage. Kitties are good at relaxation :-)

    Don't give up. We need you and love you. Stay on top of those doctors and the insurance company. Make them think outside the box.

  19. I am echoing SIO, God never gives you more than you can bear. I truly believe that too. Healing white light to MC & FF {{MC&FF}} Big hugs!!!! Prayers too. Wilma, you keep your eye on them.

  21. Oh Amy, I am so sorry to hear of all this! You have had more than your share of medical problems! All you can do is keep on keeping on and see drs and ask questions and I pray they can get to the bottom of what is going on! I can imagine how tired you must be from all this! I am sorry about FF, too, and hope he really doesn't have MS....are they sure of that? I am sending all the prayers and hugs that I can to you!!!!!!!

  22. Sweetheart, we are all praying for you, and things will get better.

    As for the insurance, keep pushing. The funny thing in this world is that you really do have to ask for everything you want, and keep asking. The meek may inherit the earth, but the verbal and assertive (not aggressive, assertive) have the biggest chunk of the real estate. Especially when it comes to insurance.

    You remain in my prayers. Novena coming up.

  23. I have lifted you and FF up in prayer! We need you back to being our miracle kid!

  24. MC, I missed your thread yesterday and am just catching up. I'm so sorry - I was really hoping this was just evidence of your brain "stretching" into its new space. I will keep both you and FF in my prayers. About 10 years ago, my sister-in-law came down with what appeared to be MS. Actually, the doctors finally figured out that is was caused by a virus. It took her quite a few months to recover, and it was very scary, but she has not had another occurance. I hope FF's problem is something similar.

  28. {{{{BIG HUGS}}}} - to you and FF

    Molly, I've only just seen this thread, and like everyone else, am sorry you've got this to deal with on top of everything else. One thing I do know - if ANYONE can meet this head on and come up smelling of roses, it's you. Yeah, you're allowed a down day, even our Miracle Kid is human - but I know you'll be bouncing back tomorrow ready to do battle with this latest set back. Kick ass Mollycat!

  29. MC, I'm still sending prayers and healing white light your way; I'm sooo sorry to hear the news about FF. Is he sure about the diagnosis? {{{MC}}}

  30. Hi! Just updating. I am going for all my tests on Monday. The doc wrote "rule out stroke" on the paperwork to insurance and it got pushed right thru. FF has had symptoms for three years and has not done anything about them. He was too scared cause they were the same his dad had prior to his MS diagnosis. He finally broke down and saw his doctor who has given him a "tentative" MS diagnosis. He goes for all his neuro tests next week. He said he figured after all I had been thru he could be brave enough to get the definitive diagnosis. :(
