  1. Hi I'm a cat lover from nova scotia. I have had cats pretty much all my life. Currently I'm the proud mommy of 3 lovely girls, Lilly grey and white 4yrs ish, Maggie blck and white (like a cow) 2 years, and as of 3 days ago Speck a black and white 6 month old special needs kitty. We found little Speck (Special Kitty) on our door step. She is a hydrocephalus kitten..she looks perfectly normal, but she is almost if not completey blind, and has learning difficulties. Right now I'm trying my best to get her litter trained. LAst year I lost my beautiful boy Moe. I had him since he was 3 weeks old and he had grown into a stunning sleek pure Black 8 1/2 year old. He was always an indoor cat until we moved into house, and then he decided he wanted to be outdoor and hell and high water wasn't going to stop him. As hard as it was I had to let him go outside. Everything was fine for a 1 1/2 years, then sadly last summer he was hit by a car. I found him and carried him home. And after a very teary goodbye I buried him. I will miss him forever he was my beautiful boy.

I just wanted to say hello to all, and thank-you to all of you, for your support and advice.

  5. Hi Hathor! I'm also new, I'm in the UK and have a tabby 1year 9month kitty called Babs. I just read all about Speck and the litter tray, I hope you get some advice on that. I'm sorry to hear about Moe. That's tough. My kitty was hit by a car also recently. That's so wonderful you have patience with Speck with her learning difficulties, very best wishes to you and Special Kitty and speak with you soon I hope, Kae
