Happy Friday everyone! Kitties are yawning and stretching. The early bird kittens are ready with the buffet, although, being kittens, they're none too organized.
Silly kittens, they've set out the buffet but forgotten the plates and table ware!

Good morning Sio, hope you're feeling well today!..... I'm up early today to take daughter to the doctor..... but I'll give her 30 more min. before I "roust" her....
.... Cuddles was so glad to see her mommy! (daughter)..... she has been keep vigil at the foot of her bed, purring so loudly, I can hear her from the other room......
..... looks like another scorcher today, Sunday can't come soon enough for me!....we leave for NC!... yay!

I'm off to work and just wanted to fly in and say good morning. Working 8-2 at new job and then directly to the gym to work at 3:00. Yawn! But it's Friday - and I'm off at 8:00 instead of 9:00!

I'm off on my vacation on Sunday.
And wouldn't you know...Murphy's Law...the Monthly Visitor has arrived this morning. Ugh, it's awful to have this while camping. But I can sleep in the truck on the drive, that's another 5 hours before we bust butt to set up the tents.

Hi everyone from the Garden State, which doesn't exactly smell like roses if you saw the news. I have, hopefully, a short day today. The analogy is that I'm the person who dries and puts away the dishes; for this project I have to wait for everyone else to get info to me.

The campground where I am going, features chocolate milk from a local dairy. It's really good and rich, the butterfat content is high. It makes the BEST hot chocolate....of course, it's not skim or 2%, this is -vacation- after all... :-)
I'll miss you all, I'll be without internet access for two whole weeks. I really do like it though, since I'm literally umbilically attached to my computer 8 hours a day, five days a week (lol).

The weather here is supposed to be back to hot today, its been brown air the last couple of days, dust storm from the north blew into town and has hung around making it hard to breathe and see without a fuzzy sky.

I'm only working a half day today and then heading to Alabama to visit friends. I went to an awesome concert last night. Caitlin Crosby. Anyone who has daughters at home or off in shcool should check out her music and give it to the daughters. A lot of her song lyrics are about it being ok to have flaws and that imperfect is the new perfect. She is fun, and quirky and I love her music. I really hope that she is on the verge of making it big! Cool thing was she came out and met people afterward and took pictures.

Not very busy in the cafe today!
I'm so glad it's Friday!
I didn't have a good day at the new job. WHen I got in, I couldn't log into my email. XBF worked on it pretty much the whole time I was there (he's their IT guy, too) but couldn't figure out what had happened or fix it and neither could the person at whatever server we are using. He ended up having to set me up with a whole new email. It totally sucked because I lost all my emails from the old address - I have no ide who's emailed me back and lost a ton of leads I was working on. Arrrrgh!
Didn't get any appointments today - didn't get any ALL WEEK! Not good at all! I really like my coworkers and had almost made up my mind to keep that job and lose the gym, but if I can't set up appointments which is what I'm there to do, what's the point? Arrrgh!It's after 5:00 - can I please have a martini??

*slides martini to GD* Think I'll have one too. Got out early today but didn't do what I set out to do at home. Instead, I read my book for a while, then took a long, apparently needed, nap. Hubby is going to grill a steak so I will make some baked potatoes (in the microwave, hehe). We just finished up some fresh Jersey corn yesterday from hubby's cousin's farm so I think we'll just have a salad.

Hi everyone, what a LONG day! So glad to be home in my comfy clothes with my girls. Was going to do something with FF tonite but he is in bed with a cold! I offered to make chicken soup and he took a raincheck. I am going to bed early and rest with the girls. What a WEEK too!

I've got a busy weekend, too. I'm working tomorrow and meeting my Panera friend. I'm also pet-sitting for the lady with the biting dogs and parrot. Yuck! Sunday I have plans to go to IKEA with a friend. She's gone a few times and loves it. I'm going with her because she tells me they have Scandinavian food and candy there!!! :)
GG is here working out - I really wouldn't mind fitting him into my schedule for the weekend..... :)

Double martini coming up! Yep, it definately was a tough week. Was worried the bear would get at our garbage as it was kind of extra stinky, but he's more interested in the rotted tree trunk in the yard. I guess it's got lots of grubs or whatever bears eat in the woods.

Not a martini fan, but I'll have a pina colada. Just got done moving cabinets/transferring files. Our offic is moving to the 2nd floor next week and I wanted a jump start on a slower day.
Dancing is in store for the evening. I have a boneless-skinless chicken boob marinating and waiting to be grilled. Yum
