  1. I could go for a chilled chardonnay, pretty please. I'm semi-celebrating as I have Monday off, YAY for 3 day weekends! Long week here, too.

GD, you should definitely make plans w/ GG
Joan, I'm glad the bear at least didn't get into your trash, that could have been a mess.
MC, I hope you get to see FF at some point this weekend; you could both use the company, I think.

    Hi WWM and Kittymom!

  3. Me too, Kilroy! He sounds awful. Offered to make chix soup but he said his throat is too sore for that! WHOO HOO, three day weekend!

  4. Hi guys - my weekend is off to a great start - playing nurse to MrKK who spent the night throwing up. He can't keep anything down and has stomach cramps and chills. I suspect he has H1N1. I had been feeling a bit ill last weekend but I think I got off with just a mild dose.

  5. Oh no, KK! I hope it passes quickly. Poor Mr. KK :(

  6. I wish I could do something to help him but he has no hair to hold back and is just sipping ice water. He is tucked up in bed with an extra quilt and Dara.

  7. Joan - don't worry about the bear - it's that darn turkey you've got to watch out for!!

I was sitting here at the gym and one of the guys who was working out with an independent trainer brought his daughter along. I wasn't really paying attention but saw her running about from afar.
She came up to ask me something and I realized who she was. She's the daughter of the woman I used to work with at the tennis center. I lived with them (my coworker and her daughter) for a few months, too, inbetween places to live. Actually I got Bobsky while I lived there!
The kid's 10 now and barely recognized me - but then I barely recognized her, either. Anyway - we caught up which was fun.

  8. Poor Mr. KK! I'm sure Dara is doing her very best to make him feel better :)

  9. Ringo is avoiding him - obviously not the nursing type!

  10. LOL at Ringo - he doesn't want to catch anything! :)

  11. Back from making dinner
Thanks for the martini, Joan ~ that hit the spot!
KK, hope Mr. KK recovers quickly ~ Ringo just doesn't want to get in the way of any "mad dashes" to the loo ;-)
GD, how nice you got to 'catch up' with the young lady! You better make some time for 'fun' for yourself (and maybe GG?) this weekend, young lady *shaking finger in motherly way*
Hi Kilroy, 3 day weekends are the best!

  12. GD, nice to catch up, isn't it?
Hope Mr. KK feels better soon.
I'm going to have another martini and get dinner ready. See you later =^..^=
