Hi Bumblebee! I am here! I am so glad you are having a good visit! I got the story in the mail. You are right it is a great story. I was telling Lynn that I am working on a community service project with my team and I think this is one of the groups I will have the kids research. I have many animal lovers and quite a few are from farms and have a great love of horses!

The book is mainly a picture book with a little info about a couple of the horses and Earlene too. I'm glad for the newspaper story cause it goes into lots more details.

That is baby Deuter Bug. He isn't that small anymore! He is now weighing in at about 18 pounds! He is the twin of 2BPurring's Blackbeard. They may have come from different mothers in different states, but they look almost identical! We added to the family and have a Basset Hound puppy named Sherlock--he is Deuter's best friend! They are tearing through the house as I type.

We are celebrating the town's 100th birthday this afternoon with a tea at the church. Personally I am looking forward to celebrating St. James day tomorrow at the church with a barbecue! We had my husband's summer picnic last night at the park--I will be picniced and barbecued out by the end of the weekend, but it has been fun!

I will. I have to go and get ready for the tea. This is the one I am not really looking forward to. One of the woman that is in charge of the event told one friend of mine she is too old to be in the kitchen and then had the nerve to tell her she doesn't know how to brew tea. She then told another friend if she wasn't ashamed of her crippled hand she could pour tea. It was an unnecessary comment and one that would only hurt. I just destest being around this woman--to me she is very toxic for our church. It seems that she is good friends with the our minister's wife. I guess that excuses her behavior--it makes me ill. Oh well it isn't a day about her. It is a day to celebrate the town's birthday--100 years!-- and to celebrate the people past and present of our congregation.

Hi, Mama Lynn here. Bea is safe and sound at home and we had a very nice visit with her and Dorothy. Kay's son and daughter in law came with the kids, Dakoda and Nikki, and we had a wonderful lunch. The chickens came out just fine, the macaroni salad was good, they enjoyed the veggies and fruit.
Bumblebee was so happy to hear from you all and wanted me to thank you for visiting her today.
Thanks for all of your comments, it meant the world to her.

Hi Lynn! I am glad she chatted for a bit. I know she loves visiting! You had a house full! I bet everybody had fun. Chicken is one of the best things in the world to eat, add macaroni salad and fruits and veggies and you have a perfect meal! Big hug to the whole bunch!
