Ahhhh home at last, ok in the house at last really....fed the outside birds, filled all their water dishes, fed the inside crew and headbonked and/or petted all occupants, took all my meds incl bp ones, now its time to see about sleep.
Oh and I had been finding that I had little scabs on my head around the back of the top and couldn't figure out why....hadn't hit my head nor scratched it, wellllllll woke up yesterday afternoon to Red kneading my head while chewing on my hair and giving me headbutts of his affection.....so that ends that mystery, I thought I was doing things in my sleep that I couldn't remember or something, lol!

I'm home from our little overnight trip. Why is it that going away for one night seems more tiring than going away for a week?? The girls have their noses totally out of joint over us leaving them alone for a night!

The good part is that they act like they are glad to see us. Windi has been rumbling, rubbing, wanting to be brushed - I think that she was nervous!

Hi all!... made it to the mountain in one piece, and *sighs*, am feeling that familiar "de-stress" feeling kick in!...... Hubb's best golfing buddy called as we were driving in the gate, so he basically unloaded the car, then ran out to play "as many holes as we can get in before dark"!..... LOL..... they just called a little bit ago, and they're coming for dinner - golf buddys' wife is coming too, so I'm cooking!.....
.... remind me again why I ever go back to Tampa?.... oh yeah, I have family there!.... LOL.... I absolutely LOVE this mountain.... will take some good pics this week and post them.......

LOL... yes MC, I am!.... this was just too short a trip to take her this time, but she will be coming back with me in August when we drive up for two weeks...... actually, CUDDLES will be making her maiden voyage here then too!.... HELP!
.... I'm so excited, I was just rummaging around in the fridge, and my neighbor and good friend up here just popped in, and we made a date to play golf tomorrow and lunch..... people are so much fun up here, and so friendly - there is a good network of couples as well - everyone just comes over, and "someone" (usually me) ends up cooking.... they bring whatever they have in the fridge, and we just put it all out!..... I love impromptu dinner parties!......
