Well crap I just heard from the contractor--no dishwasher tonight or tomorrow. I get the dishwasher on Wednesday I hope. You know I bought the thing last week--I don't want to do dishes! How spoiled am I! Daughter is so sore--she was at band practice from 8am-4pm. She is sore and tired! She really doesn't think we are remembering her birthday. In her room pouting to one of her friend--parents don't even remember my birth! TOO FUNNY!

She came out and looked in the pantry. I asked what she was looking for and she said she was thinking about baking a cake. I said now why on Earth would you do that! It is too hot to turn on the oven. I do have her favorite cake but I put it in a cupboard and not the pantry--don't want her seeing that I have thought of it! Have I mentioned I am having fun! She said oh and said fine she will have ice cream. She didn't see that I picked up sherbert--her favorite. I put that out in the big freezer. My hubby came home for dinner and had to leave the kitchen because he thought his laughter would blow it.

I am exhausted so I actually am going to call it an early night! I could use some sleep. Hopefully my little hound will see things my way! Aren't dogs suppose to sleep 80% of the day!
MC hang in there but please do not let up on the doctor. It may sound a bit over the top, but if I were you I would call the doctor every 10-15 minutes until the doctor speaks to you. I would most definitely notify the hospital! Someone needs some serious training--if not a slip to look for a new job--Malpractice is Malpractice.

KK, I am 30 minutes north of Ashville, NC in a little tiny town called "Burnsville"...... basically, "western north carolina"!...... it's sooooooo beautiful and peaceful, and truly, some of the most georguous landscape I've ever seen!.... I'll try and post pics soon!....
.... tonight, one of "last nights' guests" asked us over for "coctails and dinner", so we went - then to dinner at the clubhouse.....he lives in this amazing mansion (not in my realm!)... but beautiful ......
... tomorrow, we're supposed to have dinner/coctails with our neighbor (my gal golfing pal and hubb).... pretty informal, I'm thinking we all bring whatever we have in the fridge and then someone will cook (probably me!).... I'm going to make my newest "recipe".... an unusual salsa, with feta, black beans and le seur peas... it's yummy!

... I swear, I'm going to send you and MS a "tin" of boiled peanuts!..... a couple of days ago, I was trying to describe what they were, and how they tasted, but.... well..... you just have to TRY them!... you'll either LOVE them, or HATE them!... LOL.... it's a true "Southern Delicacy!"......

hmmmmmmm.... not sure?!!!! Boiled Peanuts are typically a Southern treat.... Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Missippi, Carolinas, not sure if it goes beyond that!.... they are green peanuts, that have been boiled in salted water for a long time...... when done, they are very soft, squishy and salty, but IMHO, the BEST SALTY TREAT ON EARTH~!!!!!!.......... I will say, they are an acquired taste, but are truly one of my FAVORITES!!!

OK - got you spatially located now - I'm happy! I'm a bit of a map-junkie. So is MS. She inherits my old Rand McNally's whenever I buy a new one. It's always good when reading to try and find on the map where they are talking about in other parts of the world.

KK, our house is on the MOST BEAUTIFUL GOLF COURSE!!!.... Hubbs is an avid golfer, (a 1 handicap)....... I totally am (horrible), but try hard!.... but we have a great time together!........ Hubbs has golfed since he was little (thus, being GREAT at it!)....... I , on the other hand, couldn't take it up until my "baby" turned 16 .... (2 yrs ago)...so I'm a rookie!.... but truly, it's fun, and "the bug" has "bitten", so I'm hooked!....... Hubbs, lucky for me, is so kind and so excited that I finally "got into" his sport, that he loves it that I play, and is my "number one cheerleader"!.......
I will DEFINIETLY take some pics of the course and post them in the next week!

This will give you some idea of the diversity of NZ. From geothermal areas like Yellowstone to alpine areas like Switzerland. MS lives about 40 minutes away from some of the main geothermal areas. The South Island is generally reknowned for having the most stunning scenery but we (MS, Jcat and I) in the North Island would have to say that we can give it a run for its money!
