  1. Hello everyone! KW, that is insane for temps for you, and OC, don't even want to go there! Hope everyone is staying cool just the same. Guess I can't complain about 90 here!! CM, have a good night and kiss the kids and Wayne for us. Cheri, good to see you and hang in there girlfriend.

KLS, good to see you. What a wonderful life you and Kurt have going on. I wish Kurt the best in schooling and so glad his parents were able to help. I wish you the best in your career choice, follow your heart.

Av, good to see you as well, and thanks for opening the night shift. Km, good to see you as well, hope you both are well.

  3. Hi Lynn!... good to see you too!...... having so much fun up here in NC, but raining a lot tonite, so can't be on the "puter"! too much ... how are you and what is "happening" with your crew?.....

  4. KLS, Eggnog sounds like the perfect pet. I am sorry for the loss of your mother, but glad the little one was there to ease your pain. Kurt sounds like a one in a million and smart to boot! You don't have to understand, but your support means the world to him. Your heart seems to lie with animals, maybe something to give thought to. My best to you and yours, Mama Lynn

  5. Hi AV, understand about the rain, pop up storms here with the humidity, too. Our crew is fine, kits are good, older grandaughter is just that, getting older and feisty! Little grandaugher doing well. Kay off for the week, parents on vacation. So she is getting into closets and cleaning up stuff. I took off Friday and Monday last and am back to work.

Bumblebee and Dorothy visited Saturday and it was a nice time. Sorry no pic, the camera used had the pics come out dark and unprintable. But a good time was had by all. Steph, Frank, Nikki and Dakoda came too and Bea got to meet them finally. She brought many clothes for Dakoda and the child will not need clothes for another year. A great savings for the kids. And a wonderful blessing from Bea.

Other than than we are well, thanks for asking. Hope you and yours are well. Love Mama Lynn

  8. Well, bedtime for me. FDA coming into the plant tomorrow to do their thing, so another busy day.

Everyone stay cool, and safe, and have a restful, peaceful night. Until I see you again, may the angels kiss you gently while you sleep.

Much love to all, Mama Lynn

  14. Hey! Hope everyone is doing well tonight!

  15. I use a soup mix that includes stock, split peas and dried peas then I triple the water and add grated potatoes, carrots, chopped celery(whole bunch) and any other vege that sticks it's head out of the fridge. Then I add 3/4C each of red lentils and pearl barley. Today's soup is pea & ham flavour. Keeps my tummy happy and warm and all the grains etc are great for me.

Just having a fight with my printer, trying to get a new ink cartridge in and the printer is behaving like a kitty at pill time. Grrrrrrr

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  21. Yep that is Ally. She is growing so fast. I've not seen her in 3 weeks, so I can't imagine how much she has changed.

Posted 2 years ago by linksboomerang #

  27. Hi, MS ~ the smell must be wonderful in your kitchen about now ;-)

SM was wandering around a little while ago, but I guess she didn't check the night shift; maybe she'll stop in later.

Posted 2 years ago by kittymom #

  28. Mmmm, veges have stopped screaming and there is now a wonderful aroma, mainly of celery and ham. Really looking forward to this soup.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  29. *peeks around corner* Hmmm, looks like the cafe is empty for now; refreshing the food and water bowls for the staff kitties, dimming the lights a bit, and turning down the fountain. G'night all; those who stop in later can turn up the lights and help themselves to the goodies ;-)
