  1. this is a hilarious situation with my kitten. i am not worried about it, but it is amusing and i was wondering if anyone here would have any insight about it, or if your babies do it as well. my lil boy goes into these stages where he won't move if i can see him. he'll start walking, and if i look at him, he freezes and becomes like a statue. when i turn away he continues his advance, and if i turn back towards his he freezes again, and so on until he gets to where he's going.
is this a game he's playing with me? is he stalking something? i find it very entertaining!

  2. He is stalking you, sweetheart. And yes, it is hilarious!

  3. Deuter's favorite game and normally ending as a pounce on my feet!. He also hides under the blanket, often forgetting to tuck in the tail, and will spring onto my feet. It is a great game! Unless you are Sherlock--with a sniffer like that hound has you would think he knows precisely where Deuter is--but Deuter always gets him! Great game for them both!

  6. yea he obviously think im his prey! even more hilarious than the freeze frame is his sidewinding. he jumps and hops all over the place, sometimes forgetting he is near the edge of the bed (resulting in him mistakenly jumping right off), or the couch. it's funny to watch him release his energy and assert himself, but then he runs off when i approach him to continue the play :)

  9. My Jerrie played that game all his life! We would always play it when I came up from downstairs - I would poke my head around the wall at the top of the stairs, and he would start heading my way. I would duck back behind the wall and then back out again - every time he was a little closer, stuck in "freeze" position. The game would end when he got to me and we touched noses. Hilarious.

  12. Yes! I love that game. My kitty played it her entire life. She would sometimes end the stalking by jumping at me with her fingers spread out to make her hands/paws seem huge!!!!

  16. My Kittens play where's my babies. I put the sheet over them and i uncover and say there they are. I know but there babies... 8) If I stop they meow it is so Cute. When I come home from work and I say where's my babies they run to my bed and meow wanting the sheets over them. It is adorable. They also know i'm in the restroom and they put their paws under the door letting me know they are waiting. it's cute. Enjoy ur playtime with him :)

This is exactly what my baby Bianca does! Its so cute! She usually does it when I am behind the corner and she slowly stalks up to me and then she pounces, touches me with her paw and then runs away. Its like a game of tag! Lol

  22. sometimes he pounces on me, or some nearby toy. mostly he just touches noses or paw at my feet and then runs away to start over again. he is really a super playful and affectionate (when he wants to be) creature and i love the time i get to spend with him.
i finally put a collar on him today, because it finally fits his tiny neck properly. i think he spent 2 hours fighting with it to try get it off... it was very funny to watch :)

  25. With Akasha its the blow game...when she is laying in the window sill Id blow on her and duck back behind the curtain. She would come out and peak her head out like "what?" and id pretend to be busy. Shed go lay back down and Id do it again until she finally figures it was me and attacks my fingers
