Hi MC, so sorry to hear about FF's diagnosis but glad to hear he is already starting on medication and seeing another neuro for a second opinion. As for you, I am sorry to hear that you have to go in for even more testing My thoughts and prayers are with you...I don't think I could handle things with the grace and humor you display, I can see why you are the Miracle Kid! Exactly what they both said! MC, I'm so sorry about FF's diagnosis. At least now he can get started on his treatment, but that's probably no real comfort to him right now. But I bet you are :)
And I'm so sorry you're having to go for STILL MORE tests, I don't know how you manage to be so wonderful about it, as Annie R says, you always face things with such humour and courage. Big, big {{{HUGS}}} to both of you!

Will the other tests be run this week MC? Can you feel any swelling in your throat where your thyroid is? As the Kiwi crowd sez, this does suck monkey toes, big time!

MC I'm really glad that FF has finally gotten the diagnosis which I'm sure he already suspected would be. It's very sad for him I'm sure with having a father with MS also. ADD definitely doesn't help matters but with medicine I'm sure he'll begin to feel better about things soon. ((FF)) And YOU...you must be feeling like something akin to a lab rat!!! I'm happy though that the doctors are being so very thorough because no one has ever been hurt by knowing TOO much but knowing TOO little can really make a mess of things. God Bless you little girl....I'm proud of your strength and courage and glad you and FF are there for one another. And you will always have us!!! (((Amy))) =)

Sending more prayers. Wow, more tests! Hope they are able to figure what is causing your eye problems and also get to what the mass in throat is all about. Sorry about FF. It is always good to get a second even a third opinion when it is something that big.

I have tests scheduled for next week. It is the earliest they can get me in as they only do the tests on Thursdays. I have to go in for injections and then go back for scans and ultrasounds and thyroid uptake testing as well as blood work. More and more poking and still no answers! YUCK!!!

MC, have you been having any more issues with the eye? I wish you could get your tests done earlier. I'm very sorry to hear about FF's diagnosis, but it really is a good thing that he is getting on meds right away. MS is one disease that I would REALLY love to see a cure for. I know several people who have suffered with it, to varying degrees. It does sound like you two were brought together at the right time in your lives to give mutual support.

Yes, I have had one more vision attack. FF told me that I am complicated but he likes my kind of complicated.
