My brother was diagnosed last fall with stage 4 melanoma. He's 45 years old and hasn't had a very good life, so the prognosis wasn't great to start. I found out today that it's spread from his lymph nodes, lungs, and liver, to his stomach, so now he's having trouble eating on top of trouble breathing. He'd been very hopeful up to this point, but this new blow has greatly diminished that. He's started talking to my dad about taking him back to our hometown for treatment there and about hospice care. We've not been very close as he's 22 years older than I am, but I've started getting to know him in the last few years, and I'm worried and sad. So... please keep my brother and my family in your prayers.
Oh, and he isn't married and has no children, but he's the oldest of 5 siblings with me being the youngest.
