Hi, I'm Katya. I'm a 20 year old student from Colorado. I have a 15 month old black, female, DSH named Saidah (seye-EE-dah), although sometimes I would swear she's a dog. Yesterday I got 2 8 week old kittens (one boy, one girl), whom I haven't named yet, but I've known them since they were first born. I ride horses, play multiple musical instruments, and have virtualy no social life, and really, that's about all there is to know about me. I look forward to talking with y'all,

Hi Katya, welcome to TDK. I'm owned by a black dappled Tortie,DSH called Moonshadow (Shadz). That's her in my avatar. We live in New Zealand. Shadz is a bit like a dog at times too. It sounds like you have a fairly full life despite no social life. tell us about your kits and what instruments you play.

It's nice to meet y'all! You guys all have such beautiful kitties, and so many different kinds. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who calls them my kids. ;) I'm sure I'll be asking y'all for lots of advice, since the new kits are already a handfull, and I've only had them like 24 hours. It's shocking how much troulbe a 1.5 lb kitten can make!
I'll have to get pictures of of the kits, since words don't do their unsual coloring justice, but they're almost white with colorfull ears and tails (the boy has orange tips and the girl has grey tips), and they both have bright, iridescent blue eyes. I think they'll both be medium hairs, but right now they're just balls of fluff.
As for my instruments, I play both flute and harp. I'm moving to a small town so it's nice to have more people to talk to, and y'all seem like a great group, so I'm glad I stumbled upon TDK. -

Hi Katya! It sounds like your new babies are Meezers! ( Siamese) The orange tipped one is a flame point and the grey tipped one is a blue point. I can't wait to see pictures!

Welcome to TDK from hot an humid New Orleans! My furbabies are Puzzles (8 y/o calico female), Merlin (6-ish black male - msotly outdoors), Luke and Leia (4 y/o Katrina rescues - creamsicle and grey and white tabby, respectively) and Hester (2-ish tortoiseshell female stray moved indoors after her kits were born). My skinbaby heads to college this year... Look forward to seeing pics!
