Good Morning! The kittehs are sleeping in today so it is time to wake them to get breakfast ready. They are all stretching and cleaning up for their customers. I prop the windows open as it is nice and cool out today. Tablecloths and fresh cut flowers from the garden are on the tables. We have some music on in the background. The kittehs are busily making all the yummies your tummy could desire in the kitchen. Being Sunday, the champagne fountain is flowing. We have berries to drop in your champagne to make it extra fizzy! Come say hello, what is happening this Sunday?

Good Morning MC and Katt!!!
Ahhhh had some sleep last night...whoo!! Only up about 15 minutes all night so it's nice to feel rested. Just ate brekkie and Abbie is waking up so I have to get her to eat. It's cooler and rainy here today but feels so good.
How is everyone today?

I went to the fire station and hung out! He was working. It is an old, old station in a not so good part of town. NO fire poles to slide down. I guess I passed the test since 5 others were there. I got the grand tour, got to see the trucks and tried on the uniform. Damn near knocked me over, it was SO HEAVY! I was mad, I wanted a pix in the full uniform but didn't have a camera with so I didn't get one. He said he thinks I will be back so not to worry. Tried to feed me (but FF told me NO, the guy that was cooking was NOT a good cook) and take care of me. It was a nice time and they didn't even get called out!

Afternoon! Just finished sorting the babies out. Liger and Pickle have gone to their new home too. Rang the new owner to see if they arrived okay and what they think to his house (Never be as good as my home) and they seem to be doing fine, puts my mind at ease.

Good morning everyone, champagne on Sunday sounds great...especially a rainy Sunday as we are having here. Have fun on your bikeride WWM, CM glad you are feeling better today. MC, sounds like lots of fun at the fire station - I remember long ago taking my little students from Safety Town to the fire station for a field trip....but your visit sounds a lot better ;o) Jade, I'm glad you heard from Liger and Pickle's new family...I'm praying it works out and they are happy (no home is as good as yours I bet). My two kitties had a brother originally when I found them as orphans 2 years ago. He was adopted by the friend of our neighbor across the street. She loves him and takes good care of him, I see her occasionally and she gives me reports on how he is doing with his big sister kitty. I'm glad he's doing well, but not a day goes by that I don't wish I had kept him too...you are a great mom to your kitties. Everybody, have a good Sunday.

Annie, what is so funny about that is when I was in kindergarten we went to the firestation and I cried like a baby. He thought that was really funny too!

Hey GD, Howya doin today?
It was a dark and stormy morning here in Joisey. After breakfast, I went upstairs and read ghost stories from books I picked up over the years from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since we're not going this year, it was nice to bring a little bit of the beaches of that awesome place here in spirit. It was so cool to read about ghosts and witches while t-stormes raged all morning!
This afternoon I read my book (the other one, as opposed to a book of short stories) and toggled between reading and napping. Nice lazy way to spend a stormy day!Posted 7 months ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

MC, when the day comes that I get new furniture (don't hold your breath), I'm shipping the couch to you. It's over 20 years old. I had too much to do today, as usual!
Got up early to run and take the pet-sitting dogs out. got home and straightened up and took a nap and sent out tennis-related emails. Now I'm just home from a trip that included a stop at the pet store, a stop at Target, another stop at the pet-sitting house and then grocery shopping at Publix.
I'm mentally tired and not happy tomorrow's Monday already. I won't be able to keep wotking the two jobs much longer :(
