I had to open the cafe this morning. I'm starving and those kitties are just rousing themselves to get everything turned on and coffee going. Of course, as always there will be a full buffet all day for everyone to enjoy.

Well, it looks like everything is set up. I'm eating a delicious plate of scrambled eggs and cuddling a little tuxie that crawled into my lap. I'll leave the lights on for those coming in later. I'm getting some things done before work starts today. I'll pop in later.

Morning, all! Just popping in for a sec, busy morning so far. Made a beef stew in the crockpot, made a salad for lunch, ran George around with his new feather toy, phew! Not as busy as you, though, CM :) Now I have to dash and get dressed; I have some more stuff to do before I get to w**k.

CM, my Monday was a lot more fun than my Sunday, I got to see a lovely house today and I got afternoon tea too, ;-) Yesterday I spent all day at the computer, making complicated corrections I didn't understand...

I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to get Hubbs out the door, cleaning up kitty yak (thanks Cuddles), and gathering up the trash to get to the curb because it's collection day!..... now I face a MONSTER mound of paperwork on my desk!

ick! jury duty....... I remember one of the funniest threads ever last year when WWM had jury duty...... let me see if I can find it.... we were on a roll that day in the Cafe!...... she was going to wear "depends", and I was trying to get "toilet tissue" from a foriegn housekeeper at a hotel...... it was hilarious.......

Morning everyone! I hope it is a good Monday. I got a big grip on myself over the weekend and am choosing my attitude. Whatever the diagnosis on my eyes tomrrow, I can deal with it. I am hopijng fopr the best and steeling myself for the worst. In an effort to get more leafy greens, I am making spinach, feta and tomato omelets in the cafe! Grape juice to drink and a blend of berries on the side.

*croak* - Red Bull! I think that I need Red Bull!!!! arggggg.....
It was one of those days at the gym that was just plain hard. But I think my legs were tired from our bike ride yesterday. Not to mention that my left knee isn't working exactly right. Why, you might ask? Because Mr. WWM is determined to teach me to use toe clips on my bike, only right now I don't have either the pedals or the shoes to use toe clips. So he takes off my "little girl pedals" and puts these toe straps on that kind of look like a cage that your toe goes in. "I might not be able to get out of them", I whine. "You have to learn" says the coach from hell.
So we head out and he yells "STOP". And of course I did stop - by toppling over onto my left knee with my bike crashing down on top of me. The Coach from Hell stands over me and I can hear him thinking, "Wimp". I get up but discover that I have added something new to my anatomy - a huge "road rash" scrap on my left knee that is bleeding in earnest. Determined not to whine, I say "It's just a scrape" and we go on but now I look like I have been attacked on a playground that has gravel (does anyone remember that - why do they put gravel in playgrounds, anyway?????)
Exercise is sooooo much fun....... and why do those buzzards keep following me???????

LOL, WWM! Think of them as Birds of Paradise. Yes, I remember those gravel scrapes of the playground. I think I'd feel the same as you about having to put my toes in something I might not get out of (although I couldn't even begin to get on a bike now...I much prefer those motorized scooters).

Yeah, WWM, I tried to ride my bike a couple of weekends ago and totally fell off of it. Scraped my left knee, elbow and thought I broke my left wrist. Fortunately my bones are really strong and I only bruised my hand. I need training wheels!
