Oh that really stinks, PM! My Dad loves two cities in Europe..Berlin and Prague. He was stationed in Berlin when the wall went up (59-61). He has some reallly interesting stories about his experiences there (one involving taking an American politician into East Germany on unofficial business which caused some noses to get out of joing for one story). Another was finding out one of the cashiers (he worked at a bank for the soldiers) was spying for the East Germans working in their West German branch.

Kykat, I go to Vegas for a big sales conference in two weeks. The conference is for one week (Aug 17-21) and I have two dry food resevoirs, a water fountain with a reservoir and plan to get a second litter box as last year I came back to a very nice smelly mess as the recepticle for the automated litter box got too full. I am gone basically four full days as I don't need to leave my apt till noon on Monday and then I come back around noon on Friday. I am thinking about possibly hiring someone to come just one day (maybe Wed) to check on the water reservoir and litter box. I will ask my vet for some references of people who do not cost too much for a one day visit.
