  3. Welcome to TDK. I am hoping that your parents know what you are viewing online. I also am very curious why you are keeping a kitten locked in a cage. I hope that you spend some time off the computer and with a friend or two. Summer is almost over.

  4. Here here SM, didn't like to say, but most of your day on the pooter Dwod? C'mon, get out there in the sun and the fresh air, even if you have to persuade your mom or dad to take you, or to organise for you and a friend to meet up! And, yeah, what's with the cage? This is a cat loving site, as I'm sure you've noticed.

  6. I can't imagine a vet ever giving advice like that! Change vets and let the kitten out of the cage!!!!!!!!!!NOW!!!!!!

  7. Only one thing I would like you to think about. Put yourself in place of the cat. He is a baby, taken from his mother, has no idea who you are, and then you put him in a cage. Of course he will hiss--HE IS TERRIFIED! A cage will NEVER tame him. Please listen to 2BPurring's advice--find another vet that can show you how to help your kitten trust you.

  8. i let him out now :D

  9. Very glad to hear that. All cats hiss from time to time, and there's always a reason. But that is no reason to imprison the poor kitty. Be gentle, talk low and loving to him, and stoke him on his head and scratch under his chin and behind his ears and he will soon love you back, and any aggression will die down. Is he neutered? If not, that could be part of any aggressive tendencies he may show. So, neutering him would be highly advisable.

  11. Welcome Kyra! I agree about not keeping the poor dear kitt in a cage....it won't accomplish anything except to alienate him from humans even more!
