Missy is dying...

hey guys, its Luke here, its touching to know how many people care for our kids, unfortunately its looking bad for Binx now as I've noticed his apatite has dropped and the same creamy discharge has appeared I'm going to take the day off work and get him to the vets asap, whats really gets me is when we were at vets with Missy Jade asked the Vet to take a look at him which lasted 2 seconds with him saying "i don't want to stress him so put him back" and if he goes the same way as Missy i think there's going to be a law suit, i am shocked to see somebody who is supposed to help seem like its no big deal and there lives are worth so little.
I Miss my Little Girl so much i hope shes being looked after By my First cat Puss who i loved dearly and is missed each day, he was my Boy and used to follow me to the Park and wait for me in the bush's next to the playing field to finish my game of football and then walk home with me

I am sorry for your lose. If she had an infection it stands to reason that her littermate might have the same infection. If you do not feel that this vet is providing good care can you talk to another person that you know that could recommend a good vet? Prayers that Binx will regain health and prayers of peace and comfort for your loss.

we think now this is the reason the Queen rejected them, is it possible that the infection started real small and has now began to spread ?
I'd also like to say thanks to all for Supporting Jade (and I) through these difficult times you guys have no idea how much this means to me as my feeling are somewhat drawn

Hi Luke, I am so sorry that you are now having problems with Binx on top of all the heartache you have been through...I'm with SM, you may not want to trust the vet that treated Missy based on your experience there. Unfortunately, there are vets like that all over the USA too, they try to look all concerned but are more interested in taking your money than helping the little animals who can't speak for themselves. I hope you can get Binx treated for his potential infection and get him well ASAP. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Jade tonight....

Also Jade is being comforted by little Whoopy now who is giving her Fuss and affection, thats what i love about Cat's they give and receive love and affection

I am so sorry for your loss. Please try another vet for your own peace of mind, and yes, mom will reject a sick kitten--it's about survival of the fittest, she will protect those she knows will make it. As far as what to do with her little body while you decide, keep her in the fridge if you can in a little box. God Bless for all you try to do!

Hi again Luke, I think if you take Binx to another vet who is willing to really try and help him, you have a fighting chance...especially knowing what you do about Missy's infection. I also think you are right about your kitty Puss showing little Missy around the Rainbow Bridge and showing her all the fun stuff they can do up there. I will say a prayer for little Binx so that he can be cured, since his Momma rejected him you and Jade are his Mama and Dad now. Best of luck to you...keep us posted.

Many prayers, hugs and love to you both! It is such a difficult time for you but know you are never alone as long as TDK is here! We all know where you are and have been where you are. Know your baby Missy is being shown around the bridge by all our kits who have gone before. She has so many friends to play with and fields of catnip to romp in! Please keep us updated on your Binx, we are a bunch of worriers here! Hugs to you both!

I am so sorry you've lost Missy. She doesn't hurt anymore but I know you do with broken hearts. Missy left her love with you; you will always have that, just look into your heart and memories and the love is there.
I am sorry to read that Binx is now sick also. I echo the advice of others, you should find a different vet and make sure the new vet knows exactly what the infection was that killed Missy and the exact timeline of when you got Binx and Missy, when she first showed symptoms and when Binx first showed symptoms. This can be very important for the vet to determine how best to treat Binx.

She is healthy and running and playing and purring and will always, always watch over you both and your furbabies now and in the future. She knew love. What a wonderful gift you gave her!

Fed, Cleaned and hot water bottle sorted, Fleece blanket folded safely covering the hot water bottle, edges arranged so cant fall down sides, he now sleeps calmly and peacefully G'night little Binx love you and see you in an hour or so!
Night guys, Cant thank you enough for the love and support you've given us we'll keep you posted tomorrow what happens before and after Vets, Lots of Love and Hugs from us here and Binx sends you all a suckle on the nose and a Purr :)

We have decided to bury Missy. She will be buried under the rose bush in the garden which gets gorgeous yellow roses in the summer. I was hoping to have her cremated but have called around for prices and at this moment in time we cant stretch our budget. But I am hoping to cremate my other kitties when they pass so they are always with me. I hope Missy understands and will like her resting place.
