Meegz's wedding!!! How exciting! I think we should all come over for the wedding :)
I have been up all night..I think Abbs is teething so she was up every hour, I tried everything to help her..she's sleeping now...I was able to fall asleep at 5 to be woken up by Fred wanting to eat..I pushed him away and then had to get up at 6:30 so I could feed them and start the day since Maddie would be up about 7..and she was....

(((CM)))) poor Abbiefish..... those toofers are painful when they start to break through!...... babies have to endure a lot in that first short year of their lives!...... hope you can get a nap today!....

The MegaMillions lottery goes off tonight, and as I'm sure I have a winning ticket :P I think we should be good for a mass trip to Meegz' wedding. Wouldn't that be fun?
I'm sorry to report that my stupid evil headache is back :( I would love to head back to bed, as lying flat actually helps, but no such luck, gotta go to work. Hope everyone has a good day.

jcat, here's the short story of the ac guy.... The A/C guy, Rafael (who works for David Gonzalez) came this morning, he replaced the freon in the unit as it was down almost 6 lbs. Also he found the main reason that the a/c never really cooled the house down. That really surprised me because Chas Roberts (heating/cooling repair company) didn't find it last year, whoever hooked up the temp control inside the hallway had put a jumper wire between the a/c and the heat, so when the a/c kicked on it made the heat coils kick on too. The house has cooled down to 77 degrees in the 2 hrs he has been gone, dramatic difference from the high temp during the day(s) of this summer :)
It may have been a misreading of the instruction guide but it’s fixed now. It’s kind of scary though knowing that all this time both the heat and a/c were on at the same time, so what if it had caught on fire and killed the cats and me. With a power meter reading on the heating unit itself, before the jumper wire was taken off it was pulling in 18 amps when it’s not supposed to pull any amps. Now it is pulling max .001 amps and the pipes are actually cool now. He also went under the unit and checked out the coils and they are very good.

Holy moly, Deb, that's totally frightening! And to think a reputable company didn't even pick it up! The heat and the air conditioning on at the same time, how mad! and how expensive in power terms, they must both have been working as hard as they could.
I don't even want to think about it, I would be furious!

Deb, that is VERY scary!.... it was the A/C unit that caused the fire in the building I'm living in now a year and half ago!..... it almost completely destroyed it! It was a long and expensive restoration!...... make sure your smoke detectors have fresh batteries, and that there are enough of them!....

jcat, I am mad about it, have been paying enormous electric bills since Feb '06 (over $150 a month) and now I know why. Plus the thought that with both on, it could have caught fire so easily.
