Here it is almost week 2 of August...what have we been up to?
I have been trying to stick to "The Program". Watching my diet to include more fruits/veggies, healthy fats & lean protein products. Yes, I do celebrate
once in awhile with a glass of wine or small piece of dessert but moderation is my mantra! My workouts are about 4x per week and it seems to be working! I hope all are on their healthy living quest without too many stressful
set backs!

Thanks for starting this thread Jeankit! Maybe we just need a monthly "Thoroughly Dedicated Kits".....I'm like you, trying to build healthy habits day by day and succeeding most days. I walk almost every day (6x/week) for an hr or more and just starting back with weight training, yoga etc. I look forward to starting each day with a walk. The fitness part is easier for me than eating right but I manage to make healthy choices most of the time. The point is that I see enough results to keep going. Reading about everyone's progress, recipes and ideas keeps this whole healthy living thing interesting. Rock on "Thoroughly Dedicated Kits"...

Classes start back for me on the 14th. Ugh! I am not looking forward to it. The things that keep me motivated through the whole day is that I know I am going to come home to my kitties and I get to check up on tdk and look at the daily kittens and I know I get to look at The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee blog site at the end of my day. :)

This month so far I have received good news about my operation. And can't wait until that is all over - but hey I'm waiting on the NHS (our free health service) so I could be waiting a while hehe. Trying to think up ways to get my cousin back on track before she harms someone and hurts my nan even more. And obviously as you probably know - I've been bringing up my babies.. baby now.. for the last 9days :)

Well we made it to August 11th...healthy, wealthy?(someday) & wise(sometimes!)
Day two of a new work week trying to watch it! I did manage to get to the gym last nite & had a healthy dinner. My co-worker brought a cream puff from our
State Fair to split today...I haven't indulged yet but will share it later. Must compensate tonight with lite fare for dinner & some form of exercise! How is everyone else doing? -
I know there were other threads since this one but here we are August 28! Did we stick to our plans? Me, sort of...esp during the week. I usually don't shoot for the moon on the weekend though! Good luck...it is the weekend again!
Culver's flavor of the day today is Choco Covered Strawberry & I plan on picking up a pint for the weekend treat! MMMMM...
