  1. Aww AV glad you liked our country! I can't imagine living anywhere else myself. Although I moan about it I get home sick VERY quickly lol. Speaking of Bride, me and Luke hope to get married next year - all will have instant invites on here! :P

TL Omg that would be SO nice! Take his little 'baby equipment' and go meet Auntie MCW! But yes he is too cute and would crash the party bless him :P

  3. Early congrats on upcoming nuptials.
SP, that would be lovely if you could meet MCW. I was one of the ladies that joined the UK TDK meet this past spring. Everyone was delightful. Love UK also, but I lived there when I was a teenager, so it is close to my heart.

  4. Sorry for the late reply - had to see to Binx - who I MUST announce has done the biggest, longest kitty poo in history!! As his tummy isn't so round now I'm guessing that was the dewormer working its magic?

TL you don't live here anymore? What made you move? I couldn't live somewhere like America - too busy and noisy for me ..

  5. No, I was only in UK for 4 yrs. I was only a teenager and my Dad worked for the university and was there with work. I currently live in CA but lived in the east coast of US for 27yrs, that area is really "home" and hope to go back when my sons finish high school.
You would be surprised SP, there are many quiet areas in the US.

  7. Well a few years back my parents looked into buying a place in America. Just internet browsing really. For the same price as a two bedroom house over here we could get a five bedroom house in a state over there. Wasn't too sure which state - I think it may have been Georgia.. BUT the back garden... um yard? Was like woods/mini forest lol! It was SO pretty but man that would be scary at night. I've never visited USA either. Luke has been to Florida and said it was great. If I went I would like to go somewhere quiet so I can experience it in my own time if you get me..

  9. Lake Tahoe or the Grand canyon, or beautiful Vermont and Maine may be just right for you.

  10. ....SP, COME TO NC!..... our mountains are so much like the "Highlands" of Scotland, it was eerry to me!... Seriously, western NC is soooo beautiful and peaceful!..... talk about "alone time".... it's heaven......but of course Fla. is great too ( I live here too, but want to retire in NC ).....

... I have to give TL's Tahoe and Grand canyon points too... I've also been ther several times, and they are some of the most breathtaking scenery on earth!.......

  11. All I can imagine when someone says Grand Canyon is a big dusty mountain... and I'm not too sure where Tahoe is *slaps forehead*

NC? What is that a abbreviation of, Sorry I'm so naive and hated geography lol!

Here's Lake Tahoe, northern California east of San Francisco.
NC - North Carolica, very beautiful. AV meantioned the mountains, but the beach is quite lovely also.

  13. Omg Tahoe looks SO beautiful - like a escape, somewhere to lose track of all the horrible things. Are there cabins there to stay in or something?

I mean anywhere with scenery like that grabs my heart!

  14. Yes, many lake side lodging. It is truly breath taking and if you ski, supposedly the skiing is wonderful there. In fact it was the site of the winter olympics some yrs back.

  15. As this is a semi active thread of mine and I don't want to intrude on anyone Else's I will say this message here. I am off to bed now as I have my two hourly feeds to do through the night. Got doctors tomorrow morning also and then vets in the afternoon, I will get a chance to nap and catch up on my sleep - look less zombie-fied lol!

Night all and sweet dreams for when you get to your bed! Much love thank you for keeping me company and I shall speak to you all tomorrow! Xxx
