  1. I'm not good with recognizing kitty breeds. I just wanted to leave a message saying - OMG SO BEAUTIFUL! I just want to huggle the kitty all night - with a face like that!!

  5. her and her sister are probably mixed breeds. I know people whos cat had a litter of kittens like her. She is lynx pointed, but that is just her pattern. She looks like she has some Siamese ancestry.

  7. Some kittens aren't any particular breed - they are just the results on many generations of 'free love'. And that's what they ask for and give you in return - lots of love.

  8. Yep! that is what I call an Alleymeese. That simply means a siamese mix. It can be from a recent liason or from grandma and/or grandpa... The pointing occurs when kitty inherits the Himalayan gene. This gene causes the extremities to darken to conserve heat. It is also occurs in rabbits. A tabby pattern in the points is called Lynx point. You can see Torti or cali points, and various solids... Dark brown is Seal, Grey is Blue, Light Brown is Chocolate.... Baby may also develop the characteristic Siamese Rawley cry and other Siamese traits. Watch out for your cabinet and other doors. Siamese are notorious for being able to open them.

  9. Thanks you seem really knowlegable about this. My grandma is going to tale kittens I can't have 5 cats that's too much for me and too much poop to clean. I'd love to keep her though she's so sweet and gentle. Btw my other cats open cabinets and go inside when people come over I was almost ready to put child safety locks on them lol

  10. my vet informed me that a mamma cat can have six kittens with six different fathers because of the way their inside female parts are designed so its very possible her sister is fathered by a different cat than allie.

  14. Feral calls her siamese mix a Semi-meezer and I have always loved that. Allie is a color point of some variety. Colorpoint is a generic term that describes the color pattern but there are several breeds which are color points. Siamese, Balinese, Himilaian, Tonkinese to name a few. You wont be able to tell which she favors more until she is a little older and grows into her body shape and hair length. She definitely looks like she will be a lynx point.

  15. Such cuties...part Siamese mix or Himalayan but I like Ailur's Alleyemeese
concotion of yup, free lovin' per Cheetah! I had a choco-point Siamese-mix: Sushi...she had pretty blue rounded eyes vs very slanted and very smart!

  16. Dont forget Oriental, Kykat! =^.^=
I wouldn't think she would be a himalayan mix, cause she doesn't have a smushed in face.

  17. my baby looks a little like that that with the blue eyes and dark ears, but his legs and tails are striped with light and dark gray, and his face has stripes as well. I just call him a Tabby...

Peaches is crazy and likes to run sideways arching herself as if se is makin herself look bigger haha. They are growing so fast too. They can already climb up my bed!

  19. Birmans are a pointed breed that have the long fur and not the smushed in face to add that to the list. And some ragdolls are colorpoints.

  20. Definitely part Siamese or Ragdoll. Difficult to tell until he is full grown, as rags take 2 years to fully grow. I have seen many feral litters with a mix of different colors.
