  3. Whooo MCW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got to like that :)

I am about to hit my head against a wall...I am planning to book the place where we had Maddie's 1st birthday for Abbie's 1st birthday and I have to do it soon and we cannot figure out when to have it, Dec 27, Jan 1st or Jan 3rd...I emailed everyone to see what they think on the dates and hopefully will hear back from them soon so I can book the place. Party planning is not my forte!

Can I have a stiff drink?

  4. Gini, you would love this. It is a blend of a fruit tisane called Orange Grove Vanilla and a black tea blend that also has a fruit element. They call it Sanctuary Blend but for me it will always be Mad Hatter!

  5. Madness CM! My head spins when I have to plan something in advance - can so and so make it, will this be convenient? Questions go on..

  7. MMMM kykat..that sounds heavenly...
Sins...It drives me mad too..Maddie's 3rd birthday is in October and in Ohio, you never know what the weather will be like...cold, warm, snow, rain...
Abbie's is December 30th..so that's right after Christmas and Snowy and cold..so has to be inside...I am trying to plan both girls currently since it will be here sooner than later.
Speaking of birthdays....isn't there one coming up this Wednesday...someone in the UK.....mmmmmm who could it be......

  8. You're a few days out CM, that is if it's my F-word birthday you're referring to...don't make me 40 before I absolutely have to be!!!!

  11. MCW, I survived turning 40 and let me tell you it beats the alternative. The worst thing about being over 40 is when you go to the doctor and you get the phrase "well, when you are over a certain age..." Ugh!

  12. Good luck at the vet with Binx!

  13. LOL at Kykat!

  14. OK, I am off to the gym - when I put my jeans on this morning, there was definitely an improvement in the overhang department, so something must be working!!! Back on later.

  15. MCW, your b-day is Aug 12th..the day after mine and Debsterwiz?

Kykat, I love a good tea also. When I went to the Florida TDK April of last year, while were at the Epcot center, Rubia, Catwoman and myself visited the Twinnings Tea House. We took a tour on the makings of various types of teas and it was very interesting. I tasted a mango type tea (which would be good as an iced tea). There are lots of good tea houses all over my area. I know of one in San Francisco.

Speaking of Rubia, haven't seen her on here in ages. I assume she is busy with life, family and work. Hope all is well with her.

Well yesterday another dove came and took over the nest with the four eggs in it. She added a fifth egg yesterday to the nest. This morning, the cat must have been visiting because I heard her bang against the window. She came back as I was leaving for work. We will see if she stays to hatch any of the eggs.

  16. *limps into the cafe.......* Has anyone found any good deals on bandages?

So, I got my beautiful new road bike yesterday - it is so pretty! And I got the shoes that I need to use cleats with Look bindings on the pedals. Mr. WWM put me on the trainer yesterday so that I could practice clipping and unclipping my feet. Piece of cake!!!!!! On the trainer, that is....

We go out for a ride this morning - a for "real" ride. And the very first time that he told me to stop....... WHAM..... Well, the good part is that I now have matching scabs on both knees.

That tricycle is just looking better and better.......

  17. hey guys. Didn't get to the vet - some lazy *insert word of your choice here* made Luke late home from work. This guy is a complete whiner who can barely work! Had to reschedule the appointment for Monday so I'm hoping nothing happens during the weekend. It's annoying, I'm trying my best to do everything right for Binx and make sure he is okay. I'm a worry wart I know lol.

  18. Back! And the colour of sunburnt beetroot. When does it start to get easier??!!

SMM - close, my birthday is 16 August. So we're all Leos together huh? :o)

Rubia is indeed up to her neck in life, we've swapped a couple of emails - I know she lurks occaisionally to try and keep up with events.

Sins, sorry you didn't make the vets, how annoying, especially when it's beyond your control. Get Luke to guilt trip the guy tomorrow, just for the hell of it :o) I don't think you need to worry about Binx over the weekend, sounds like he's doing great to me!

  19. Good job MCW! It does get easier, I swear (says the person who wimped out again today because her ****ing head hurts). I remember your birthday because it's the same as my best friend from college.

Send a hi to Rubia if you e-mail w/ her

  20. MCW, my Dad's birthday was August 16th!!!! Imagine that! He would have been 88.

Posted 2 years ago by katthays #

  21. Hi Kilroy! I'll pass on your hello's the next time I email Rubia.

Hey, there's a coincidence Katt!! All the best people are Leos ;o)

  22. YUP, lots of good people are Leos...and Crabs (July) :0

Posted 2 years ago by jeankit #

  27. *sniff* sticks a Hello Kitty on left knee, right knee, right shin, left elbow.....

Remember those formal dresses made out of duct tape? I think that I have enough bandaids on to make one of my own.....

Posted 2 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  28. Looking over AV's shoulder at the catalog for the side car or the tricycle for WWM. :::glaring look at Mr WWM:::

Posted 2 years ago by SylMiaFelixsMomma #

  29. ... remind us again WHY you can use just regular pedals????!!!! Again, THE LOOK....

Posted 2 years ago by AV #

  30. The only good part of our ride this morning was that, towards the end, I took off up a hill and he couldn't keep up with me! But he may have been cheating so that I would feel better. I managed to make it into the garage without falling down so that was a step in the right direction.

When we were about 1/4 mile from our house we saw a turtle trying to cross the road. I rode on and Mr. WWM stopped and picked her up (being very careful to hold her away from him because they tinkle as soon as you pick them up). So we have a new little girl in our garden. She should be grateful that it was Mr. WWM who picked her up given my tendency to topple over at the most inopportune moments.
