Hello. I am new to this forum. I just recently found a kitten in the woods last week, and needless to say he's got a new home! So I'm probably going to be needing some questions answered! :)

Hi Lucky. Welcome to TDK-dome. What's the kitty's name and yes, please post pictures of him. We will try to answer your questions. That's one of the things we do the best here, besides have fun, share recipes, pray for our littermates, etc. You get the drift.

Hello! I am new here! I got a kitten from my neighbor yesterday!! She is approximately 6 weeks old. I took her over to see her mom and sister today and you should have seen the two little ones go at it!! The mom would not let her nurse at first but finally gave in. Did Mama cat forget her this quickly?

Welcome Lucky and Kalsobrooks(KB) to TDK. Lucky, thanks for saving the wee kitty from the woods. Ask any questions you want and we'll do our best to help.
KB, the kitty probably gad a different smell to it after being away from Mum and she would have been a bit unsure about it but soon the mothering instinct kicked in.Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

I am crushed! My son took our "Princess" to the neighbor's house who gave her to us. Princess immediately started to drink from her mother. I have been giving her soft food and water. The neighbor decided that we should wait until Princess is fully weaned before we bring her back home. I understand the logic but the neighbor should not have given us the kitten until she was fully weaned anyway.
Our house is too quiet and not as lively now! And I will not have my sleep companion!! We will be ok I guess. The neighbor stated that it should only be a few more days and that she will call the vet in the morning to see exactly how long it will take to get her fully weaned.Posted 2 years ago by kalsobrooks #

Welcome new comer. Congratulations on your new kitten. The people here are amazing!
Munkiskitten...how are you feeding him? Bottle? At 6 weeks it really should be eating soft kitten food mixed with some formula.
