LOL, Sins you are doing a great job, I love the ones you've done so far. Especially little Binx, with the baby talk ;o) Kilroy, I have always had the image of Seattle raining like 70% of the time, but I guess that's not so. Hubby and I have always talked about going to visit the Pacific NW, I know Seattle is a beautiful city based on pics/articles I've seen - I'd love to see it in person. I've heard that Portland, OR is also very beautiful. Maybe one day....at this point a vacation like that isn't in the budget, sigh!

Good Morning everyone! Coffee only for me this morning MC...Oreo served us breakfast in bed this morning....Ugh...She brought in a dead bird and served it up with pride! Ugh! Poor bird. So anyway I kinda lost my appetite for the time being. I can feel the weight falling off of me! (NOT) Sorry to hear about your basement MC...more stress! Maybe there's a spot within the creek that's clogged and not allowing the water to flow fast enough. One time (long ago) my ex discovered a clog in a drain pipe near our creek and it was flooding our driveway and washing it away. Anyway...hope you have your waders handy. You could need them before this storm is through! =(
Sins...I just checked out your Catster pages...WOW!!! Have you got a full house or what? Hahaha! I fed your crew a treat and sent a friend invite. =) -
Lol, yeah I have A LOT of feline friends, but I am proud of each of them and they all get a lot of love and cuddles <3

I sometimes feel that people with fewer cats look at me and think I am a bad person for having so many, the girls will be the first to get spayed and they are getting done very soon (two people already reminded me to do it, on here lol)

It's very easy to love alot of animals and as long as their health is good and they live in safe conditions I know that it's not a bad thing. I DO however believe that spay/neutering is of upmost importance because these felines are little birthing machines that has led to millions of ferals all around the world. We adopted four feral sibblings and had them all spayed and neutered by 4 months of age. They're 2 yrs. old now and are all healthy, spunky and are not out fighting over mating rites or over populating the area with unwanted kittens. Your crew is beautiful! =)

Thank you Karen! I believe in getting cats spayed/neuter, although I am a bad example. BUT I did find a useful number at the vets - a organization who help with spaying/neutering costs - which I thought I might look into.

Thank you Karen! Although right now I'm concerned about Binx - he didn't eat much on his 2pm feed so I skipped the 4pm feed to entice his appetite and now Luke is trying to feed him and he isn't feeding again...

Maybe your baby is full! I know sometimes when it is time to eat my girls just don't. I would be after all that time but they are cats and that is ok too. I just want to say again, you have beautiful babies and you are a great meowmy and daddy to them! Hiya Karen, how is Oregon today?????

... hi guys, popping in for a while..... Sins, I love your catster pages, you are talented!....
.... wow, I'm really in the "cooking" mood today!... I think I'll make a tapais dinner spread tonite.... Hubbs and I just want to stay in and veg by the tube (I'll read).....
my ideas are : two kinds of bruschetta - and chicken skewers.....
1) White bean puree, with sauteed bacon/onion/garlic, fresh chopped tomatoes, calamatta olives, fresh thyme, cilantro, good olive oil and a splash of balsamic vinegar..... served on toasted baggette
2) Fresh avacado, chopped banana peppers, crumbled feta, with lime juice and fresh cilatro - served on crispy flat bred
3) Skewers of Chicken, marinated in a fresh lime juice/soy sauce, ginger, cilantro and olive oil.... grilled and served with more sauce for dipping.....well, these are the receipies I've made up in my head, I'll let you know how they turn out!...... off to the store now!......wheeeeeeeeeee!

Good evening each!
I have just got back to England from Berlin. There was internet at the hotel BUT they wanted to charge (are you sitting down???) 10 - 20 Euros AN HOUR! And you had to use the whole hour at once, you couldn't say I'll have 10 minutes a day. I didn't have time to drop into internet cafes during the day and I didn't want to carry my laptop around with me all the time to find the free hotspots available all over Berlin. It was just too hot for that.
I'm going out for dinner in a moment. I'll update you all on the trip once I get back. :-)

It's not bad so far Kilroy! Went to the gym this morning, ran some errands, went to Mum's as the staff at the home were giving the residents & their family a BBQ, very nice. Not done a lot since! Tomorrow Chris and I are going shopping in the afternoon, I have some things I want to get ahead of my trip next month. How about you? how's your weekend so far?

Not bad, head feels considerably better but not perfect, went to the gym this a.m. and did about 80% of maximum, and have otherwise been hanging around with husband and cat. Found out yesterday that I have 3 days off the week after this one, so we're trying to decide what to do. It's a Monday-Wednesday, so with the weekend it's like having a week off.
