hahaha Ange!..... actually, MS explained "sparrow fart" very nicely in the last night shift.... right before "anyone wakes", or thinks of it..... and the sparrow *shifts* ... dreamy and just waking until.....*the "air bubble" slips*........ LOL....
... HM, hot weather, in Fla. is like snow in Alaska.... always there, and nothing you can do about it!..... LOL

AV, it's sparrow fart until. . . whenever he gets to change to day shift. i went back to sleep this morning and was woken by hubby sneaking into bed several hours later. He said he just woke up to find he'd been asleep downstairs in his chair. Don't you hate that when it happens. I've been helping my brother and Mum weed and clear up a very long garden of Mum's before all the Spring weed growth gets away on her.
Ange, you know a sparrow has farted by the gentle ruffling of it's posterior feathers, ffffffuuttttt!Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

M2M, I'm a rainy thundery stormy person too. That's why I really wanted to go back to Seattle when I had the chance. I absolutely love it there.
AV, I also loved living in Alaska back in the day. Good times good times. But don't all times seem good when you look back on them?
Hi LB.

I'd love to move to Seattle, too--I love gloomy, rainy weather. Last week, though, it got up to 103 degrees in Tacoma where my niece lives. Luckily, they have an air conditioner in their bedroom and the whole family stayed in there all day.

LOL!~ see, ... when the "sparrow's" rear feathers are gently ruffled!.... HE'S FARTED!!!!!.... LOL.....
....MS, my Hubbs too, falls asleep many times in the "comfy" chair downstairs... and then tries to "sneak" back up into bed..... MEN - they think they are so *quiet* and considerate?....like bulls in a china shop... might as well "blast the horn"... "I'm coming to bed now honey"..... *bangs around*, bumps into everything, lights switched on (dazzels my eyes)..... LOL (but I still love him!)

Hi LB. HM you're welcome to our cold and wet weather at the moment but we don't often get thunder storms I'm afraid.

Its odd like they have to make sure we are awake to watch them get into bed and fall asleep before we can even think about going back to bed...I love my hubby tho

Off to prepare meals for Mr MS's night shift(not as much fun as ours). Back later on. KK, you stick to your guns.

Ringo is no longer a kitten - he is a catten. Plays like a kitten but the size of a cat. And VERY affectionate although still not a lap cat. The last 2 nights he has slept behind my pillow, sucking the heat from my head.

My Goodness Ringo is a fine fellow indeed there! better hide his picture quick before Mystie sees him!
Okay ruffled sparrow tail feathers means it's farted and that is in the wee hours of the morning right? is that like the morning song birds a new form of morning greetings for the sun?
HM I have often thought about washington or Oregon myself for one day but has to be in an area with almost no snow thank you veyr much heheh!

They are doing well and coming along nicely too! I am hoping that once I get Mystie into a spa visit and she is healed that I can let them both stay out nights. i had her out for a week with me and Max and things seemed to go well except for a few 4 am wake ups to being rain over or to a cry when max got to into his play!
Snow would be okay if it is limited! i jsut don't want to have to drive in it! Hehhehe!

It's been 6 hours since the last post so I'm guessing most people are tucked up in their beds(US) or out at work(UK). I'm heading off to bed now to curl up with my trusty hot water bottle.
It's 10.59pm NZ time, ...the night is chilly in NZ and cool to d**n hot in USA ..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV , & Tigger from the beginning....good job everyone & bless you...
check - turns fountains off
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows slightly open for Northern TDKers' spring and closed for Southern TDKers' autumn.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need. Be careful out there! Bless all those whom have left before us, please watch over us >^..^<
