Thank you all. Tomorrow is the day and I decided not to take this year's birthday off as last year's birthday was so horrible, I didn't think it warranted taking it off this year. I can tell it will be different this time around as I got two birthday cards that arrived on Saturday and I already had a nice chocolate ganache tart this past weekend (I treated myself to it).
Thank you for thinking of me. I appreciate it.

I actually don't mind working on my birthday - it's always nice to be celebrated a bit at work. Even going to work at the gym was nice this year - they got me a cake and everything! Just don't work too had tomorrow!! -

Thank you all. I opened the cards I received this morning and the one from my Mom had an old picture of my Mom and I with the family pets which were a siamese cat named Fiesta (affectionately known as feestoozie among her 10 other nicknames) and a Belgium Sheepdog named Mora. It made me smile when I saw it. My aunt and uncle (my Mom's brother and SIL) got me one of those that you can record and so they record their happy birthday to me. It had the Peanuts song playing too. Thank you Linda for the very nice card. I appreciate it all.
For my birthday present to myself, I accidentally scrapped the left front fender on the pole in the parking garage (next to my parking spot) yesterday when I was coming home. I cut it too close to the pole as I turned into my spot. I will look into seeing how much it will cost to paint the scratches. Probably something like $500. Oh well. My car the money pit.
Sylvester and Mia both gave me purrs and lots of headbonks today. I told them I should have taken the day off and stayed home with them. They will get extra treats in celebration of my birthday.
