He stands on his back legs? Well then Roo would be a great name.

Im with AnnF. Pierce, George, Johnny or one of our other TDK heartthrobs since he is stealing your heart. Or on that vein Cary for Cary Grant wasn't he in "To Catch a Thief?"

I like that one! I always had a soft spot for Mr. Grant! They don't make 'em like that anymore!

Here in the Deep South, when we can't think of a good name, we stick with Dwayne, Lamar, or Bubba.
Hope folks are more creative in Arizona.

These sites list thousands of English kitty names. I hope you'll find the proper one. ;) PS. Please tell us which name you eventually choose.

How about "Alfred, Earl of Cheddar"
That gives you the opportunity to pick three different nicknames. He sounds sweet and loving, so a semi-noble title might be nice.
My own two cats are named (ahem)
Little Lord Rotley of Ratacat Manor (called Baby Rotley, or Rots)
and
Ruggles von Tuggles of Tuftwell on Thames (called Little Ruggles, or Ruggie)
It's amazing what you'll do for a little fraudulent dignity!

Gotta luv the Bubba! :) My warm-up math problem today is this (I SWEAR!)--
Bubba's 6 weeks grades are the following--blah, blah, blah, (11 of them)
Find the mean, median, mode and range.I kid you not, TDKers, Bubba is the name I use for all of my ficticious students. One year, I couldn't do this because I had 2 Bubbas in my classes. Almost drove me crazy. . .

FH, my fictional character is always 'Spanky' from Our Gang (wait did I type that outloud, dang aging myself again!!!)

My late cat was Spanky--a fine name for one of the finest felines who ever lived. . . Spanky McFarlin (?) lived in my area and I talked with him a few times at the car wash down the street

FH, Buckwheat was always a funny name, reminded me of what a Bubba would be like or brought that picture to mind. Yes, I am twisted and stand up admitting it!

My next Shih-tzu is going to be Bentley :)

If you're suggesting heart throbs for names how about "Connery" call him "Con" for short....

AZDebra--you need to put up a picture of the guy so that we can look and see what he looks like. You could even turn this into a vote of your top five names. .. :)
