  1. He stands on his back legs? Well then Roo would be a great name.

  2. How about the name of a real thief of hearts like

    Paris
    Valentino
    Lochinvar
    Tristan
    Rhett

    to name a few

  3. Given that he plasters himself against a lady TDKer's door, displaying all his manly charms and begging to be admitted, I am downright shocked that nobody's suggested "Pierce."

  4. Brosnan would be a cool name, too!

  5. How about O.J. as he seems to like the chase!!

Posted 4 years ago by 4 kits staff #

  6. I like Punky...short for pumpkin!

  7. Naw, i still think
    Patches is GREAT

  8. Im with AnnF. Pierce, George, Johnny or one of our other TDK heartthrobs since he is stealing your heart. Or on that vein Cary for Cary Grant wasn't he in "To Catch a Thief?"

  9. I like that one! I always had a soft spot for Mr. Grant! They don't make 'em like that anymore!

  10. Any decisions yet, AZDeb?

    *Cheeto! Cheeto! Cheeto!*

  11. Peaches!!!

  12. Here in the Deep South, when we can't think of a good name, we stick with Dwayne, Lamar, or Bubba.

Hope folks are more creative in Arizona.

  13. These sites list thousands of English kitty names. I hope you'll find the proper one. ;) PS. Please tell us which name you eventually choose.

  14. Okay..Debra.. We're all dieing to know if you have established a top ten list yet! Jo may be onto something there with Bubba...One more from me and I'm back to 'Read Only' mode...Mr. Higgs!

  15. How about "Alfred, Earl of Cheddar"

That gives you the opportunity to pick three different nicknames. He sounds sweet and loving, so a semi-noble title might be nice.

My own two cats are named (ahem)

Little Lord Rotley of Ratacat Manor (called Baby Rotley, or Rots)

    and

Ruggles von Tuggles of Tuftwell on Thames (called Little Ruggles, or Ruggie)

It's amazing what you'll do for a little fraudulent dignity!

  16. Gotta luv the Bubba! :) My warm-up math problem today is this (I SWEAR!)--

Bubba's 6 weeks grades are the following--blah, blah, blah, (11 of them)
Find the mean, median, mode and range.

I kid you not, TDKers, Bubba is the name I use for all of my ficticious students. One year, I couldn't do this because I had 2 Bubbas in my classes. Almost drove me crazy. . .

  17. FH, lol ok my son's nickname has always been Bubba....he weighed 9.8 lbs at birth and it just fit...

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  18. FH, my fictional character is always 'Spanky' from Our Gang (wait did I type that outloud, dang aging myself again!!!)

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  19. My late cat was Spanky--a fine name for one of the finest felines who ever lived. . . Spanky McFarlin (?) lived in my area and I talked with him a few times at the car wash down the street

  20. FH, too great...love all the names suggested so far, just haven't decided yet.

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  21. yeah, and my college roommate had Buckwheat

Posted 4 years ago by FondaHonda #

  22. FH, Buckwheat was always a funny name, reminded me of what a Bubba would be like or brought that picture to mind. Yes, I am twisted and stand up admitting it!

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  23. How about Percy!?

Posted 4 years ago by bumblebee #

  24. I second that--Percy!

My next Shih-tzu is going to be Bentley :)

Posted 4 years ago by FondaHonda #

  25. If you're suggesting heart throbs for names how about "Connery" call him "Con" for short....

Posted 4 years ago by KathyfromVA #

  26. AZDebra--you need to put up a picture of the guy so that we can look and see what he looks like. You could even turn this into a vote of your top five names. .. :)

Posted 4 years ago by FondaHonda #

  27. Here, Here, FH...I'll second that one! :D

Posted 4 years ago by Karenopa #

  28. Um, how about "Bubba Brosnan"?

Posted 4 years ago by Emma #
