I was just rereading the thread where you announced the arrival of Garbo and Hepburn, and it made me tear up all over, PM. We were all so excited!
More hugs from me for you and for Garbo :(
Thank you. When I get back from France on Monday I'll go to the vet's and get a friend or two for Garbo, so that she's not on her own when I go back to work in September.

So sorry to hear this. {{{HUGS}}} for you and Garbo. Wonderful that you want to honor her by adopting another who needs your love. That is the greatest tribute you could give her.

Oh no PM, I gasped out loud when I saw this thread, I'd no idea Hepburn was missing. I'm so very, very sorry, I don't know what to say. Bless you for already thinking of company for Garbo, Hepburn would certainly approve. I'm sure she's happy at the Bridge now, maybe even playing with Polly & Suki. You have my number, please ring me if you want to talk.

*The furry calico makes her down the stairway made of light. She has yet another postcard to deliver to a grieving mommy. Soft purrs announce her presence as she delivers the postcard to you. This one is different from the others, because the kitty it comes from wanted to give you a special message of comfort. On the front of the post card is a beautiful black cat resting in a meadow. The brilliant green grass brings out the vivid yellow in her eyes, which are semi-closed as she stares ahead with a contented, peaceful expression on her face. On the back of the card are three different paw prints - one of these is from Hepburn, and the other two are from two other kitties who also wanted to say 'hi'. C.C.'s green eyes gaze softly up at you as she purrs her message of comfort - your babies are alive and well and they love you. After giving you the card and the message, the calico turns to leave looking back to give you a soft, compassionate gaze before disappearing.*
I am so sorry for your loss, PM.
I know it seems like a awful way to leave this world, but I am certain that Hepburn does not remember anything. All she knows now is the peace and beauty of the Rainbow Bridge.
*hugs*

Hepburn, Polly, Binx, Missy, Angel, all of these kitties and plenty more are waiting on the Rainbow Bridge for the people who loved them. It hurts for now, I know, but imagine the day when we're all back together again. It's something to look forward to when you're feeling sad. You Will be reunited, as so many of us will be when the time is right.

This is a terrible shock PM. I just got back from holiday, and am horrified to read about Hepburn. Tragedies like this are very difficult to accept. Poor wee thing, she was only a year old. You have my deepest condolences and sympathy - you must be heart-broken. It makes me think, yet again, about my plan to give miso and sumi their outdoor freedom, which miso has been pining for. There are so many hazards out there, many of them things we wouldn't even think of. Jcat is right - there have been too many kitty deaths on TDK these past few months. Hugs.
I'm just catching up on these threads after being gone for awhile. I'm so sorry PM. And Emma and OW, I'm bawling my head off now. You always seem to know just what to say.
