  1. although Lydia was not a kitty, she was still very special. Lydia was an amazing dressage horse belonging to my boss. she fought a long battle with feet issues and lost the bloodflow to her hooves. she was laid to rest this morning and is finally at peace. i would like to think she is wit all the kittys overthe bridge. i think she would love it there! with love i miss you Lydia pe pi

  2. Wow, imagine how much she is enjoying galloping around that huge meadow in the sunshine! A meadow like that is perfect for horses... of course horses would play in a part of the meadow where they won't accidentally step on the smaller animals, but I am sure they are able to visit with all of the other animals whenever they choose.

Part of my message somehow got cut off when I posted.

My post was also supposed to say:

*hugs* I know you will miss her, but I hope the thought that she is running and playing now without pain somehow makes the loss a bit easier to bear.

  7. You know she's up at the Bridge with Ruffian and Barbaro and the others, running in the wind, manes and tails flying, free of pain and fear.

  9. {{{Amakins}}} No more pain, sweet Lydia. Hope the kitties don't bug you too much for rides around the meadows and over streams at the Rainbow Bridge.

  16. I bet Lydia/in full health is letting some kits ride side saddle as she trots around the bridge as her debut in her new home!

  17. How sad! Peter still gets a tear in his eye when he talks about his horse Betsy that he had as a boy.

  18. I love horses - they are such beautiful, intelligent, wild yet gentle creatures. I am so sorry to hear about poor Lydia and how she lost her fight to live. It's a very sad story and you have all our sympathy here.
